Maneouvring with Azipods - speed control in independent mode

How to control the vessel's speed with 360 degrees controllable thrusters such as azimuth thrusters or azipods? This video is a short introduction on pod manoeuvring with various pod settings for speed control as well as advantages and disadvantages of certain arrangements. It is valid for operations with independent pods (manoeuvre mode, AZIMAN) without any limitations.
The dynamic prediction of SAMMON Monitoring is used in order to vidsualise the ship's dynamics induced by various pod handle settings.
