I knew you'd love it! Well done Lee as always! I wanted you to see where they started from and we'll go further back to the first album of course lol. I think this was the original cut of this video, I'm not sure. This song was absolutely a hidden gem from the early days. It is weird seeing Syn without his signature guitar. So happy that they released this with all the footage of Jimmy. Matt's vocals are insane! Zacky and Johnny killing it as well!
He had already been with his now wife for multiple years at this point so I don’t think he’d had his heart just broken, Val is an absolute ride or day woman and has been for the entire history of the band, warmness on the soul is about her. She was a very important person in the bands history as she was basically their manager and she would sell merch for them and she borrowed money from her parents to give to the band for stuff like touring and recording
This singular song created a whole genre of metalcore in the 2000s. After this came out everyone just shamelessly ripped this off right down to the riff.
I recommend you to do a reaction to their song Fermi Paradox. The song describes the bands versatility in music like no other. They blend so many rock genres in to one song, and the song hits you with aggresiveness, flashing guitar solos and great melodies over an amazing topic.
I second this. Fermi Paradox and Higher have very quickly become two of my favorite songs, Fermi Paradox specifically so. Three amazing solos in one song? Yes please.
I'm still waiting for Chayanne's reaction 🥲 Guajira... another recommendation is Sonido Bestial a total different type of music you are used to... check the dancing videi
This is actually one of their most popular songs haha. One of my fav metal songs ever. Even without a face melting solol!
It is! But I've noticed most newer fans overlook the first two albums or they don't know how far back Avenged actually goes.
this is true cause i didn’t know waken the fallen existed until i looked at they’re discography lmao. i didn’t really like there first album though
@@ksmith37I’m lucky cause Unholy Confessions was the first song I ever heard by them and I only got into them around 2 years ago
It's like showing your friend a song and they actually love it 😂
Facts 😂😂😂😂

I know right Knives and Pens came on on a 2000s metalcore mix on spotify after this song and I was like that is so blatant
And this riff shamelessly copied every melodic death metal riffs that came before
