i just wanted to say i'm on amazon ordering some supplies to do something similar; you should get some amazon affiliate links in your description! like for your crafting pad and knife and the glue you used and stuff. you know, anything that's in the tutorial.
it'd help me make sure i'm getting the right thing (which i'd appreciate) and anything i buy with your links would make you a little bit of money :)

What printers would you recommend for being able to print on cardstock?

Inkjet or laser both work great, but I've found that laser works the best. Also, HP printers are the best in my opinion, epsons tends to be hit or miss.

This is great. There's a bunch of great Synthwave type music I want to record onto cassettes and I was wondering how to do the labels/cases. Although the jewel case is better protection, I like the slip cases better. I bought the recent Gorillaz album "Song Machine" on cassette and it came in a slip case. I'm thinking of getting tapes, disassembling them, painting the plastic a solid color of sorts, and then adding the custom labels as well as slipcases.

Because they look as thick as cardboard.

It’s cardstock paper in A4 size. They’re printable and you can get them at office supplies stores or Walmart. Hope it helps 😁
