    “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
    ― Carl Sagan

    Peter Popoff and other "faith healers" often touch or strike the subject's forehead. Then the subject often collapses, and some one grabs them before they hit the floor. How do Popoff and other faith healers get the subject to collapse? Is this collapsing supposed to make us think the Holy Spirit is at work?

    Speaking in tongues is ONLY real when someone speaks a language they do not know, and there is someone there who does know it, and can verify it.

      Not True.

      @@rochellebrown5600 ....YES. It is true.
      Speaking in tongues is when a person speaks a real language. Not gibberish.
      Look it up.

    • @Ohrami
      @Ohrami ปีที่แล้ว

      But that is impossible. If someone is speaking a language, then by definition, said person knows at least some aspects of the language.
      Regardless, the phrase "speaking in tongues" is used to refer to languages that are entirely nonsensical quite often, so your argument is wrong.

      @@Ohrami ....Wrong.
      I don't have an "argument".
      Speaking in tongues is not something that a person would intentionally do. It would just happen.
