When I read the rules it seems as though there is only room for three face up cards in the centre if there are three players, four cards for four players. Starting from the first player and continuing in clockwise order each player draws a number of cards from the draw pile: - 1st player - 1 card; - 2nd player - 2 cards; - 3rd player (if any) - 3 cards; - 4th player (if any) - 4 cards.
