as a record collector this is cool, even if we dont even have remotely similar taste. i would say to upgrade you storage ASAP(if you haven't already im a couple months late) as stacking records on top of each other that way can cause warping and major damage. even setting them on the floor leaning up against the wall would be much better.
hey thank you! i’ve got them all vertical, but i’m quickly running out of space even with some of them leaning against the wall on top of my old record player so i need to reorganize that corner of my room and get a crate!

You can play those 45s on your record player. You just have to change the speed setting on your player. Its usually 33,45,78 speed. It should tell you on the record which speed it should be played at. Nice collection! I dont listen to pop music but hey do your thing anyway. I do recommend you get some plastic sleeve covers for your records. It helps keep them in good condition. Keep it up!

I started collected several years ago and I mostly get my records from FYE and local record shops. It can get really expensive collecting them but lots of people resell their records on depop or mercari or facebook marketplace too, and you can sometimes save a lot of money doing that!
