Melvin Ajinça is more than worth taking a flyer on. The Frenchman is 6’8 and all of 220 at 19. Looks like a fluid athlete w some off the dribble shotmaking juice
Have the Blazers even worked out anyone in the top ten prospects yet?
I'd like to know which players have declined workouts with them.
I think the 3rd option is: This is a notoriously weak draft class and his people don't think that he can improve enough with another year of college to do any better in next year's draft.
It’s interesting to see not only which prospects they bring in, but specifically which ones they publish interviews for. First Bona and Tyson, then Ware and Smith, and now Christie and Ingram… not too much of a surprise, but still fun to track
(that's typically just who the in person media request and not chosen by the team)
@@LockedOnBlazers ooh, gotcha, thanks for clarifying
Like you were saying a different way of looking at things would be to land a starter to free up some cash. If they could draft a starting center that could free up the ayton cash for other positions. Then gamble on a long wing.
They may have that already with Williams if they don't draft a Clingan-type player.
Honestly, the sooner they can move off of Grant, Brogdon and Ayton's contracts, the better.
Four draft picks AND up to five probably should be trade veterans means this summer will show the direction the team intends to go !
Harrison Ingram. Ok
