I had Samingdet winning 1, 3, and just barely 4, but I can be convinced that Savvas won the 4th with the knee and hook. This is not the robbery that some people are making it out to be.
Savvas landed good shots but he just stood there to admire his work. If he had pressured more or went for elbows when his punches didnt hurt, could had be a different story..
I dont know why every time its a close fight people cry robbery and corruption... This was an extremly close fight and ppl are out here talking like savvas scored 3 knockdowns and still lost...
Were they on par after the 4th round (that's what the scores concluded and it seems fair to me)? Therefore the question is: did Samingdet win the last round (I don't think so, however I reckon it was a close round)?
@@natmaka Honestly i agree with you, i do think savvas won the 5th, which should have made him win the fight, its just i dont think its an outrageous robbery like many would have you think. But i think the main problem with the RWS’ judging is that they claim they use round by round scoring, yet this is not the first time that the 5th round winner was seemingly decided at random. It seems that they still use a traditional thai scoring and just award the 5th round to whoever they think won the majority of the fight.
The popularity of RWS has attracted a lot of new Muay Thai fans who don’t understand scoring and make their opinions vocal online. That was a lovely fimur performance by Samingdet, in my opinion he was the clear winner.
It's pretty hard to see how Savvas won R4. Other than a good knee, and a few normal punches he didn't land anything notable. Samingdet landed several good high kicks and similar punches. Broke Savvas' nose, too. I think his sweep edged him R5, though. Overall, for me, Rs 1, 3 & 4 for Samingdet makes him the winner, plus better poise and many more higher kicks landed. Savvas is good, though.
1, 3 and 4 are for Samingdet. No robbery but a close fight. In the fourth savvas scored only few punch and knee at the end of the round whereas Samingdet scored a lot of left kicks during all the 3 minutes
I love Savvas and I am a big fan and admirer of his work but fans calling close fights robberies nowadays seems like the norm. Why can't we just call it a great fight that was really close and then you can have your opinion on who and why you thought they won instead of going to insane conclusions and calling it a straight up robbery when clearly both men went toe to toe in a 5 round battle. Fight could had gone either way really and I wouldn't be mad if Savvas had won either, just stop that robbery calling none sense.
Oh and people please don't complain about the result. Unless you deeply understand the Thailand Muay Thai scoring system (as in you've actually fought over there) you are not in a position to make any claims on who the victor was.
Samingdet won fair and square. To me he definitely won round 5. It was crazy for Savvas to dance off like that, he needed to show a lot more dominance first. Samingdet clearly won rounds 1,3,&5. Round 2 was clearly Savvas and round 4 could have gone either way. If you think it's Thai bias then you need to learn the scoring. Punches and low kicks dont score really at all.
Every Savvas fight is a pleasure to watch! Thank you 🔥💪
Very proud of Savvas' performance

exactly, both of them fought really well and it was razor thin. But nowdays any close fight is apprently the biggest robbery ever lol
Well said
if u think Savvas won round 5 then that means u think he won lol
@@georgeanderson207 No, I think that round 4 is a toss up.
Was a very close fight... But I thought Rd 5 was pretty clearly Savvas. Which would've made him the winner. Kinda seems like Thai biased
yea I was there in person. savvas clearly won.
What an absolute pleasure to witness. Thank you Kru's! Thank you Thailand! Khob khun krab!!! 🙇♀

LOL both the judges and the ref helped Savvas won round 4. Samingdet clearly won

I almost thought catch kicks were not allowed or something, until Savvas' catch in 5th round lol
Savvas the real winner !!
Me thinks Samingdet only just won because of the elbow cuts.
But i dont know anything, great fight though 👍
What a fight
big time robbery from savvas, that happens many times when the fight got thais vs foreigners, also amazing fight from both athletes
