MY SPITFIRE FLIGHT EXPERIENCE

- I was extremely lucky enough to have a flight in a modified 2 Seater Spitfire at Duxford. To say the experience was amazing is an understatement. It is something I will never forget. I have made this little video to share with you folks and once I have seen other family member videos there may even be a part 2 if you want it! Please bear with some of the video as the ground work filming in this video was done on my DSLR by my cousin Glen. I literally gave him the camera that day and relied on him for my footage. I think he's done a crack up job. The odd wobbly bit and out of focus moments but, I think it adds texture. Thank you Glen for your assistance it was greatly appreciated. Enjoy the video!
Thankyou for posting this.

Cheers Jesi. Awesome is an understatement.

@@stephenscott5849 Yep😂
3:54 i replayed this part like 10 times the look on your face when the g force hit u
The pilot had asked me if I was OK with doing a victory roll. I replied 'Yes, I'll regret it if I don't.' I thought he would tell me when he was about to pull up. But, he didn't. The initial shock was replaced with utter amazement and delight
😂
I bet that was fantastic! The way your neck and spine was squished at the steep climb was scary...
It was Andrew. It wasn't necessarily squished, more the fact I was expecting the pilot to tell me when we would climb. So, didn't quite brace myself correctly.
Wow that was cool! 😃👍👍
Certainly was arkeys. Coolest thing I've ever done.
Amazing!!! looked great fun
Thank you, it certainly was

Cheers Phil. I won't forget in a hurry. Tempted to do it again...
Amazing haha😁 best experience you’ve had ?
By far Matt, by far. Not sure if it could be topped. It's world's most iconic Warbird IMO
Lucky Man there Jerry
To celebrate my 70th I when up in the very same bird. Amazing experience. Did you take control at any stage? I was allowed to.
I did Paul, a bit nerve racking to be given the controls but, very honoured. Glad you enjoyed your experience.
A rare privilege!
How much was it mate awesome I’d love to do this for my birthday
I did it 2 years ago now. 4 figures. Check out classic wings website, that's who organises it.
@@jerryncf1553 bit on the pricey side that for me .il settle for a standard flying lesson instead I think
There are cheaper options in flying in another plane alongside a Spitfire
@@jerryncf1553 awesome thanks for the info
Practice for war thunder 😂
