  • Introducing Malevolent Eraser Cat:
Malevolent Eraser Cat is an Aku version of Crazed Tank and an upgraded version of Wicked Tank.
    Stats:
    HP - 5,500,000
    KBs - 1
    Speed - 2
    Damage - 20,000
    Range - 380
    Abilities:
    - Countersurge
    - 100% Lv.2 Surge (150-550 range)
Malevolent Eraser is much less destructive than Crazed Tank is, but has the highest HP of any base magnification enemy in the game, excluding collab bosses. Its Lv. 2 Surges make it very difficult to stack attackers on, especially when it can pierce to even superbackliners. However, Li'l King Dragon is immune to Surge and would have been the most optimal unit to stack regardless of if Eraser had Surge or not. Cactus is also incredibly effective at tanking hits and can deal a lot of damage back with Strong.
The stage starts with a couple of Mistress Celeboodles for free cash to start you off, then spawns Malevolent Eraser with a support cycle of 2 LeMurrs, 2 Angelic Gories, 1 Zir Zeal, and 2 Haniwanwans. You should aim to protect your Dragon stack at all costs, bringing units such as Rock and Mushroom to help deal with the supporting enemies. Breakerblast can interrupt the burrow of Zir Zeal and is not useless against the other support, so that's the cannon I recommend for the stage. Very straightforward.

Beating this stage unlocks the True Form of Brainwashed Tank Cat. Brainwashed Tank can be obtained from various seasonal events.
In its base form, Brainwashed Tank is a specialist meatshield with 8,500 HP at level 30 and Resist vs Traitless, bringing its health up to 34,000 vs Traitless. At level 50, this amount is increased to 13,500 at base and 54,000 vs Traitless. However, Brainwashed Tank costs 210 and has a 4.2 sec cooldown, requiring Research combos to spam. Also, its base HP is low which restricts it to only stages primarily composed of Traitless enemies.
Brainwashed Eraser only has a couple of changes: Resist ability is changed to Insane Resist and its speed is increased from 14 to 18. This brings its effective HP up to 51,000 at Lv 30 and 81,000 at Lv 50. Though weaker than most specialist meatshields, this increase to effective HP means that it's now at least worth bringing Research combos for over just spamming more meatshields. Traitless enemies are still very strong and will tear through Brainwashed Eraser quickly, but being the equivalent of more than 3 Manic Erasers of HP compared to just 2 Manic Erasers of HP is a huge difference.
This begs the question: is this unit worth rolling for? No not really. However, if you do get it, the unit is very respectable and worth upgrading.
