Hi, Can you please make a detailed video on Napier grass based ethanol production. What would be the prons and cons of such implementation on large production scale. Napier grass can be grown pretty much anywhere like baren non cultivated land. So large scale cultivation should not affect/replace/interfere your regular crop production.

Good video, but there is a mistake in the chemical formula of Ethanol.. Its C2H5OH. The Alcohol group -OH is what makes Ethane C2H6 into Ethanol after replacing one Hydrogen
Only algae can produce ethanol on large scale in most sustainable way. Apart from that cellulosic ethanol secures second position but problem is it requires concentrated sulphuric acid or special enzymes.
Last option is convert syngas into methanol and other hydrocarbons, but don't know much about it. would love to see video on it.
Algai can produce Bio-Diesel, not ethanol, yeild is very low compared to hardwork

Bio fuels are a good idea and agricultural waste like stalks should be used to the maximum. Alcohols converted to ethers will reduce mass and have higher energy.
If we covert the coal having higher ash or from higher depth to gas, it will be more economical extraction. We could also covert it to alcohol and ether. However the best fuel could be solid aluminium in battery or fuel cells if we think of transport fuel only. Development has started in India and Israel.

We never want bio fuel by growing sugarcane or corn only for fuel purpose. We want to maximize ethanol from our current bio mass waste from agriculture. This should be from waste of any crop or parali etc. Green energy of future will be a combination of wind , solar and bio mass , energy wet waste from cities .

you are very negative on ethanol advantage. While giving the disadvantage you often promote crud oil and go extream on for ethanol.
If you want to LIE please LIE with details. I do not like fossil fuel however I do not have a problem with hydrocarbon. If you can make it carbon neutral problem solved exactly how every living creature breathes out carbon dioxide. The solution i suggest does not require agricultural land to be wasted for fuel and works without changing in infrastructure. Seaweed biofuel is the only option that can scale to billions of people's energy requirements without affecting farm lands . I have covered it in details many times

Where as a winning situation has rised for them, further automobile technology can evolve based on the needs like it evolved for Crude products. So my perspective is Ehanol is welcome and agricultural land will be deployed in more efficient way than today. However who support pricing framework for farmers today?

U cant even grow enough (All of Indias fuel needs)Ethanol anyway as there is not enough surface area . Need proof see what happened to USA after they tried corn as fuel & Brazil with sugarcane. Outcome food price went up and more pollution (People forgot growing crops on land takes a lot of energy )
