If I remember right, Loser by Beck is officially Open D, but you can get by with Drop D. Open D is just one step down from Open E, so it's akin to Piranhas and Sister Do You Know. A Boy's Best Friend by WS is right between them, I think, so Open D# (???). And of course, Kashmir is Open D, with G string left as G, so DADGAD instead of DADF#AD. But you have to hold your tongue on the left side of your mouth instead of the right, then carry the one, divide by two...
So I’ve done open A and open E …..never open D……any other songs you know that use this tuning?
