I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and the time it takes to curate and upload this music. As someone who struggles with anxiety and pain, your Seeburg collections have become a staple for me. I appreciate all of it more than you know.
I was born in 1978, but I love this music. It reminds me of the good days going shopping with my family. And spending time with my grandmother. I play this at my job at a daycare it eases my stress.
This hits the spot for me. I occasionally like to listen to this type of music for nestalgia, ease of stress, nerdism of music, the fact I just honestly love background easy listening music. I play it at work, while others are cranking out screamo metal and gangster rap, I play it on my bike rides on my Bluetooth speaker, the looks from people are priceless, but I don't care, I am just being myself without shame!😉
As a player of 78 rpm discs I recognize the beautiful KLH unit with the wonderful Pickering cartridge. Mono/Stereo switch n' everything. The music has a timeless perfection that is haunting in this day of imperfections. Best, mark.
There were so many radio stations when I was young that played this type of music. It was under the Beautiful music format. It brings me back to days spent at grandma's house. She would play this type music all day. It gets me inside because it takes me back to being so little and grandma watching me . A sort of innocence at that time period.
1:32 That is so "Feelin' Groovy" By Simon & Garfunkel, 😍AWWWWW. Also, I dig the vintage sound system. I remember similar set ups in my childhood especially record changers my parents & grandparents had. I myself owned 1 in my childhood. Ahhhhhh, when records were King, & I owned many starting from childhood. I rebuilt a new vinyl arsenal last decade before the Covid-19 Pandemic... BIGGEST EVER😏.
Thank you for naming the opening track. It was driving me crazy, 'cause like any 70s kid I recognized the melody instantly. But I cant remember any of the words 😊 Positively priceless 💎
I wanted to add my 2-cents of how much I appreciate the time and attention you have taken with these videos. I know I have commented before, but... compliments are worth repeating 🙂
How fun to hear a familiar melody from the sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That show made a great choice in using retro tunes for their theme tune and scene connectors, etc. Glad you will be still sharing music on your channel.
I was 12 in 1968 and remember a radio always being on at mine and my grandparents house. This is wonderfully soothing. You took a lot of time to do this. Thankyou from a retiree in Cape Coral Florida. Where Hurricane Ian hit!
Wonderful!!! 3 hours and 40+minutes? 🤗🤗🤗🎶 Thank you so much for this great uploading, dear friend! It's perfect for every moment of the day and late evening. 👍🏻👍🏻✨ 🇮🇹 Grazie di cuore! 🇮🇹🙋🏻♀️... from Italy! 🙂🦊🧡

Just read a comment another made that they wished people took more notice rather than just subbing. So just want to say thank you so much for the wonderful content. I enjoy it so much and regularly play them all the time. The intro here was also so charming, love the debonair fox. Thank you!❤🎼🎵🎶

Bouncing around your work. This is both touching and culturally well curated work that may have been lost to time. Thank you for posting these gems and more.
Very soothing! My girlfriend in college always had the stereo in her apartment tuned to the easy listening station in Dallas. It was soothing to both of us while we studied or um, whatever…
Blast from the past. 🥰 That record changer, stereo systems, the ''spit-out'' camera, 8-tracks. That there 16 speed record is a great find. You scored when you got ahold of that.
Thank for all the wonderful uploads of this channel. I’ve shared them and have a few personal favorites. It has been invaluable for study of the 60’s and 70’s pop canon songs and guides my own work as a musician. 🎉
I mean no disrespect from those who suffer from depression and anxiety, but I want to share the experience I have when I listen to this music. It helps brighten my mood 😊I guess that’s what it was composed for. To put shoppers in a relaxed and positive state on mind. I say well done to the musicians who composed these pieces. ❤
I loved the music from the Sims build and buy modes and listening over and over eventually got TH-cam to recommend your channel to me. I love this! Thanks for your hard work
2:25:19 - One Note Samba (Emil Stern version) Note: This also appears on other records including a Mood record from 1977 and as the first track on B03A from 12-26-1963.
Thank you so much for all your efforts! These "corny" things actually make me feel happy! What a gift you've given to us...or at least to me!! About 1: 49: - - I feel like I'm channeling Guy Lombardo... the brass and WAA WAA....!
This music is cheerful optimism. It reminds me of when I was young and had hopes for a bright future. Now, we deal with the consequences of electing weak leaders...but, back then, we were confident and content. This is really a good time warp! Thank you!
Thank you so much!! What is the Title of Song 33:55? I love this Song from my Childhood!!!! WOW! Over 3 Hours of truly BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!! Fab description.... and let's hope these records will be circulating again soon, for Master Collectors like you ! Your animated Intro was amazing! You have branded your Trademark!!This is one of my FAVE vids of yours! Love looking at all of your records & stereo systems with your Retro Light Shows!! Here's a BEAUTIFUL BIG APPLE THANK YOU from NYC🍎🏙🗽
It is fortunate these were recorded in a format a standard ordinary record player can play back, since there are limited speed choices. I mean if these had been made a hair faster or slower for some special player installed in markets and department stores, we would be so out of luck! Loving all the selections on this one, thanks for the upload!
It wouldn’t really be an issue since audacity has variable speed adjustments in software to speed up or slow down the digitally captured audio. As for playing one in real time yeah you would have to digitize them to listen to them if that were the case not as fun listening to a digital file over the real record playing in real time.
I just got an idea 🤔 wouldn't it be cool if a bunch of musicians got together and made some new muzak from older songs and that muzak was advertised and stores, restaurants, coffee shops would start playing it again. I'm actually going to talk to someone about this even if they just play this old muzak. Anyway thanks for doing this I'm going to be playing it more often on my phone out loud when I go places or just for walks I know I'm going to get a bunch of compliments. 😁
2:27:37 - Holiday for Strings Note: This same version appears on a Basic record from the 1970s and on the Now Sounds album from 1969 (albeit in stereo), while similar versions appear on Basic 9-A from 10-1-1959, Basic 8A and Industrial 8A from 7-1-1961 as well as N6A from 12-26-1964.

I love the Polaroid picture in the background! Good stuff :)
that first bit is Feelin' Groovy
If you've never seen it, look up Libarace doing it on the Red Skelton show. Fabulous. :)
I think this version is by Peter Loland Orchestra (Joseph van het Groenewoud)
I remember as a kid in the 70s we stayed in a hotel, and you could get what was called 'piped music' in the bedroom through a loudspeaker system, it wasn't a radio, it was just this kind Seeburg music.
Great music. Used to love hearing this music in stores
