Visited this fantastic display in June this past summer. Didn't see this exhibit. Wish I had!! My wife loves this kind of stuff! Even without it, this was a great place to visit!
I'm going to have to make a trip down there. Currently I follow and do videos on the USS Texas and her prep for dry dock. The escape room sounds like a BLAST
Wow! I member going on a trip with Boy Scouts back in like 2013 and stayed in the bunks for a week! Coolest experience but didn’t have the escape room! Would love to go back and go back in time!
My Uncle Dale helped rework the Guns on her He was a Master Gunner retired four tours Vietnam 2 on shore two off. He wanted to take me on a tour but his knees wouldn't let him instead I had him take me see fishing and I caught a Macko Shark 6ft and he couldn't help because his knees hurt. He was rather unimpressed I got drunk unfortunately. I never did figure out how to get any flavor out of that POOR SHARK. GOOD TIMES.
Most of the time he said eScape route but there were times when I was almost sure that he said eXcape route. Since I hear a lot of people saying eXpecially instead of eSpecially I might be getting paranoid. Sorry
USS Lexington CV-2 was sunk during the Battle of the Coral Sea, not Pearl Harbor. The Pacific Fleets aircraft carriers were not at Pearl Harbor at the time of attack.
As a retired Marine of two combat tours in Vietnam. I'm not a fan. This is the same stuff they do on their computers at home. The "history" they are learning is just to advance to the next step in the "game" Being stationed aboard the "Lex" was not a game. Leave the game to the arcades. Teach the real history of the Lex and it's crew. Gy.Sgt. Tom Boyte USMC retired,'Vietnam 65-66 / 70-71
