    I was looking at buying a T track but getting one in the UK is difficult, they're so expensive, but your idea of just cutting your own from a square tube is brilliant.

    Good idea, but there's the introduction of flex to the far end of the fence. It would need to have rails and fasteners at each end, both requiring individual adjustment.

    Opino que en el otro extremo debe llevar con soporte que ajuste a la mesa, pues la vibración o algún otro factor puede abrir la regla y causar un error de corte.
    Pues hay firmeza al inicio y no a la salida

    Great Video, but one question please . When inserting T nuts, to holes, Why not do T nut recess first after drilling, rather than in the piece without the T nut, just makes sense to me ! Just asking. ???

    • @heinzelbers7247
      @heinzelbers7247 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're using T-nuts more or less often, it's worth to buy a counter-bore drill bit to drill the hole and recess for the t-nut in one go. Trend for example has them for 6 and 8 mm t-nuts. I love those drill bits... :)

    3:52 from this point on forward you can see the fence wiggle on the top side. I would do what you first did on the other side as well to keep it more intact.

    • @jimnz17
      @jimnz17 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      maybe not. it jiggles when he moves the fence, not when its fastened. the only play will be in the elbow at the near end. i suggest bulking up the area where the slide joins the fence.
