I really hope you play this again some time. One of the most intense and challenging games I've played lately, it's come a long way since the alpha. There's nothing quite like it.
Such a good video dude, your "Leafy" literally better than 95% of anything on the actual T.V, entertainment to the MAX!! This is why i honestly think Televisions days are numbered, nowadays the best entertainers end up just uploading their stuff online instead of going through the whole process of drama school, getting a degree in entertainment, then performing for years in Theatre to 1day hopefully getting the 1% chance of being spotted by a performance scout, then after all that once you get a crappy job acting in some show nobody has heard of, you have to pray someone notices you and offers you a decent role. It's way too much hassle, there definitely needs to be different types of TH-cam channels though, like a channel that uploads horror content, then different ones like Vlogging channel, gaming channels and so on and so fourth, you get the idea!! Mark my words though, you heard it here first, by the time another 15 years pass there will be no more mainstream T.V, everything will be uploading directly to the internet!!
I think the banishing needs to be a bit more involved like actually having to make circled, light candles or read from a holy or unholy book so part of the mechanic is defending a team member who is chanting or writing runes. Also have miniboss demons/monsters in the map and be able to skin them or harvest a trophy from the corpse like in Red Dead Redemption skinning animation and then you wear the claw, head or horn of a monster as a sort of badge that gives you a minor buff like in Vermintide. Maybe harvest weapons from monsters. Kill the Bug lady and throw an organ or jar of it's blood at an enemy player and they get "bug bombed" Also is their crocodiles, snakes, snapping turtles and crawfish in the game? can't be a game set in the south without the ability to make gumbo.
Vertiigo, I don't know if you'll see this but... I recently found a game called "Deceit" on steam, it's a horror, communication-based, teamwork sort of game. Above all its FREE, it recently made a come back and I thought you'd really enjoy roleplaying in it. :D
