Stef don't panic about early confusion with this show as more elements are revealed to you it get clearer and so much more entertaining. The best has yet to even get started. As a person who has watched the entire show 3 times it never gets dull.

Hello, Stef. I really enjoy your channel. I hope (and expect) that you have a moderator to keep any spoilers from getting to you through the comments. I was a moderator for a channel last year and was amazed at all the spoilers that I had to delete. It is much better to get your true reactions to the many surprises that this show presents. Good luck on this journey.
Rapidly becoming my favourite reaction channel - just to note, sometimes you are SUPPOSED not to notice something which later turns out to be significant - both book readers and show watchers would, I'm sure, agree - that moment of "Oh wow - they telegraphed this 2 seasons ago!" is pretty cool...
Very well said. Too bad many viewers didn't pick up on the MANY clues that got answered in Season 8. This episode being one of them. Granted, it really is very satisfying and gratifying for that sniveling Viserys to die. So I understand the appeal and I understand vengeance can be sooooooooo sweet!!! But is it REALLY justice? Justice that a fair society or a righteous leader would enact? All he did was make threats & was a certified a-hole/d-bag. I hardly think that warrants capital punishment. I feel like if it did, we ALL would be on death row since we've all made some kind of threat (in self-defense or not). Feel like banishment, likely to result in death but at least he's got a chance for survival, would be more fitting punishment for him from someone who is a righteous leader and not some Mad King. And please, no spoiler talk. If someone MUST come at me with their dissenting opinion....at least do it in a non-spoiler way.
@oskarprotzer3000 no, but I've threatened to shoot someone that wouldn't leave my property. So you think someone should be executed for being all bark & no bite?

9:57 In the lore, it's a horse's heart. Everything about Dothraki is about horses and fights. In real life, it's an enormous jelly. Emelia got so stuck with that "candy" that she needed help from people to get unstuck from the toilet.

4:59 Season one has such amazing dialog. Robert used Jaime Lannister as an insult to Ned to control him because in the North Jaime is dishonorable for being a Kingslayer. Cersei is an afterthought to him. Ned is wondering who the fuck are these people?
So jon aryn the hand of the king who died in episode 1 was asking to see that book to see the traits brought down through the barathians. That's why he also wanted to see all of roberts bastards to see the "black hair" and varus(the bald smart guy who plays the same roll as little finger) said jon aryn was "asking too many questions" and then he dies shortly after doing all this snooping but no one knows if its natural or poison

The first season is a lot of exposition and world building so it’s understandable if it’s hard to keep up. There’s Game of Thrones histories and lore videos you can watch after season 1.
I think it's fair to say that Game of Thrones was a bit ground-breaking (at the time) with the sheer number of parallel plotlines & thread that it threw at its audience, and expected them to keep up; it gets easier the further along the story goes, though, Stef!
There are still a couple of characters to be revealed before this season ends, and it is quite important for several reasons. Remember this show is about politics and war between great noble houses, but also about a distant threat that awaits in the far north.. 🥶
What Daenerys Targaryen was eating in that scene was a giant gummy bear shaped to look like a horse heart. Yes, Emila Clarke did eat it all and she did keep it down.
