I am so grateful for you two, and all the videos you lovingly produce to remind us of what really matters, with some great suggestions! Have a wonderful time with your family this year.
So grateful for you two! Although we haven’t had the chance to reconnect we think of you with fondness often. Daisy brings so many people joy daily, our hearts are full of love This Thanksgiving season.
I am extremely thankful to the two of you for being here for us in such a beautiful loving caring generous way every single week. So much love to you and your family and many many more thank yous to you both
I like the idea of the candle in remembrance of our loved ones. I like when you said that there is joy in giving thanks. Thank you for your beautiful Thanksgiving message. May you have a blessed Thanksgiving Day with your family. I thank you for your messages every Sunday morning - the organ music and songs, too!
Emma and I are grateful to you both for the wonderful times we had in Rowe and Hawaii with you. We also share our gratitudes with our family at Thanksgiving, especially love the grandchildrens words. ❤
I can recall many family gatherings for Thanksgiving, particularly when my parents, my two sisters, and their husbands, and I would spend the holiday at our vacation home on Jekyll Island. I don't know that it was a tradition, but sometimes we would go around the table with each of us naming something for which we were thankful. Now that my parents are gone, family gatherings are rare, and I now offer this simple prayer: For food in a world where many walk in hunger, for faith in a world where many walk in fear, and for friends in a world where many walk alone, we give thanks.
I am greatfull everyday especially for my dad's extraordinary LOVE, touching his chest of the photo of him that hangs next to my bed. Also for my best friend Gaylee who is exceptionally loving whom I could tell EVERYthing and died in 2019, always my daughters and granddaughters...and for my extraordinary HEALth and you as my second parents. And more!!!
I used to have a hard time with Thanksgiving because of how Native Americans faired after assisting the Pilgrams in their new home - losing their entire country, being slaughtered, diseases, marched to other places and put in prisons. I had a hard time reconciling that with gratitude. Then, I learned to honor the Natives for their graciousness and welcoming spirit, and focus once again on Gratitude. I love your added focus on your parents. Have a blessed Thanksgiving..
Love and light to you Joyce and Barry❤TY
