I'm not sure if it has much repeat viewing value, but I enjoyed more than you did as a horror/comedy! I watched it when I was in first year university (19 or 20), and enjoyed the dynamic between the sisters. I still remember the younger sister moaning "Daddy would have gotten us Uzis" after they get Mac 10 or 11 machine pistols with their notoriously high rate of fire. (For some reason the Mac 10 or Mac 11 seemed to show up in a lot of horror in the period. I remember them having a starring role in the book (not movie) version of Wolfen as well. I suppose 1200 rpm is useful vs. pack attacks even if the recoil sucks and you burn all the ammo in a literal second).
This is a yearly thing for Halloween. Also, we attended a wedding over the weekend and had a busy week prior. Reactions are starting again this week with what we missed last week. There are some community posts with all the details. Thanks for your patience.
