I can listen to the first 34 seconds of this a billion and 6 times, which isn't many more than I already have, and NEVER figure out how the hell he does that.. I love this etude, but I'm no where near! Can't wait to hopefully study with him!
I've messed with the horn first-hand at the Edwards shop, and I must say it is probably the best trombone I have ever picked up and played, including other very nice brands, like shires and Holton. I'm only 17 now, but I definitely want to get one, it's pretty pricey though. From what I know, you won't get away without paying at least $4000.

I HAVE A GRIEGO MOUTHPIECE and I LOVE IT. Gah, I'm such a screaming fan girl for both of these men.
I played the opening solo at Solo Ensemble at Kenosha. I need to come to edwards. I live in Kenosha, not too far from Elkhorn

@ibtrill It's a bordogni etude. He is able to take it up an octave at the end, flawlessly.
What etude is this in the beginning?
Yay Mahler 3.
Tomasi near the end -3
