Number 2 There is a button on the dash to unlock the door. Press that and then the door will open first time. Not annoying just a anti carjack feature 🤦
So u telling me people out here dying for this car and mans out here complaining about walking to the trunk to lower seats and pulling the door handle 2 times???
I understand your frustration with the video. This was the very first video I ever created for my channel. I had to be pretty "nit picky" to find things I did not like about it. It was a very nice car. I also did a video of what I loved about it...but it does not get as many views as this one :)
1. It's a BMW ffs dim the windows 2. They put safety feature on doors? How dare they?!! 3. Aaaah that's sooo much work. Why isn't this sporty coupe set up like a wagon... 4. I can see how 3rd one could be annoying, but seriously how bad is your memory that you have to look for that button every time you gotta use it? 5. Get a newer version. my 2006 car hasn't got it, either 6. Okay that one's kinda fair 7. Maybe try 428i?
7 really irritating things??? Pffff. Ps... if you stop the car, the doors should unlock. So... 1 issue down. The centerconsole was designed to hold a cellphone. Or you could use the glovebox, if you are driving you do not need your phone 2 issues down. I hope can remeber where the steeringwheel heating button is after the firsttime you found it (RTFM). 3 issues down. The are issues are... well also really non issues...
Id say these are fairly valid complaints except for the "no low end punch" comment. Those bmw straight 6s make all their torque at like 1500 rpm which is pretty damn good. Im in no way a bmw fanboy (i buy american 99% of the time) but these cars always feel faster than their numbers lead on because of the low end power they make
Thanks for the comment. I will admit that this was the very first TH-cam video I made for my channel. I was being very "nit picky". I also did a video about the things I love about the car, but this video is the one that gets the most comments and dislikes. Offending BMW owners appears to be pretty easy :)
It was my 2nd. And I loved the car. You will find a video of the 7 things I love about the car on my channel as well. This was my very first TH-cam video
Actually, if you do MPPK (M Performance Power Kit) and MPE (M Performance Exhaustion), its gonna kick in around 4800 RPM, but still, better 1000 RPM earlier than nothing. Also, DO REPLACE the stock intercooler, with a proper aftermarket brand (CSF or Wagner EVO 2) it will release (notice that, it does not really "add" horsepower to it) around 25 hp on none MPPK, and around 30 on MPPK. Reason for that is by its stock design, the intercooler does only provide merely enough intake air density around regular ambient temperature, but if an optimal amount of intake air density is delivered, it will release the full capability of that N55 by design. Reason for BMW doing that is so to better protect your turbo, and also, they don't need some high-end thermostats (a decent one versus BMW OEM one, it actually triples the OEM parts price) to better cool the engine oil. Also, since MPPK is widely available even for none M Sports package 4-series cars, where, the oil coolers are not installed. Which it further increases the level of difficulty to maintain the life-long performance. (look, its just not a M car, and there is no "M435" yet, so yah, it was designed for daily drive and last longer).
Thanks for your comments. Since I posted this video (it was the first TH-cam video I ever did), I have sold the car. Wife wanted to go back to an SUV. And I drive a Corvette. But I loved the car. (I did a video also about the things I love about it). It was my wife's daily driver...
I just got this exact car. I like the car but at low speed there's a whistling/humming sound which goes away at higher speed. I don't hear it when the windows are up. Do you get the same noise? I'm thinking it's wind.
Lol We BMW owners are a tad defensive lol … I agree with the phone one and wish the center console was deeper. Besides that love the car have the MMPK , makes a difference.
thank you boss great vid. I'm about to buy this car with the same model 2015 the M package. do you advise? and does this model have any common breakdowns or any issues? Thanks..
All German cars are like this regarding the doors! Regarding the seats, that is very common and not a big deal. No remote start again no biggie here! The visor, come on guy geez. The only valid complaint is the low end torque which I will be testing myself tomorrow, so we'll see! I kinda have to agree with a lot of these comments!
Damn Man. This is why I never watch these "I hate videos". You should have bought GC. levers for rear seats are inside. I own the same car but GC. All your gripes are of the KAREN nature. Please.
It was my first 3 series. I actually loved the car (it has been sold), but I wanted to point out some of the things I was not happy about. Thanks for watching my very first TH-cam video :)
Great question. I have only owned 2 BMW's before...so I am probably the wrong person to ask. But if you are interested, I am selling the car you see in the video. Asking price is $24K
All of these are irrelevant tf only thing I hated about this car is you can open it the trunk but can't close it from inside. Also the phone app is a joke it takes like 5 mins to send a command to the car
That video is really just a privileged whiteman nitpicking at an all-around great car. I don't really see anything relevant in what he "dislikes" in the car. My understanding is that the 435i is still a very powerful German luxury/sportscar. That's really a first world car. I'm always astounished to see how Americans can complain about minute things when they can, in fact, afford great cars without making major financial sacrifices. I'd be curious to see that "reviewer" ride an old French, Italian or Asian subcompact with low power, no comfort or major amenity, if he was living in a context where he couldn't afford more car than that.
You’re forgetting the fact that this America works his toosh off and wants to treat himself to a higher quality item that costs a truck load of money, money spent that still has problems. Spend so much and have a lot of problems, makes you feel like your money WAS NOT well spent. If the car cost $10k, I wouldn’t complain but $50-60k is more than a shirt off your back.
yeah this video really just reinforced me wanting one. Much better than what I drive now and if these minute things are all he has to complain about, then I still want one lol
HA! Thanks for the laugh. Never been called a Diva before. This was one of the very first videos I posted when I started my channel 4 years ago. Everyone is a little rough when they get started...
A heated steering wheel. lol Yea maybe if you live in Alaska. Get rid of the dumb phone and you won't need to worry where to put it. But I could tell you.....if I was rude.
HAHAHA...thanks for the advice. It was my very first TH-cam video I created. I know I was very nit picky. We have since sold the car...wife wanted an SUV :)
I think for a first time creating a youtube video...it came out pretty well. There are definitely things I would do differently if I filmed it again. But overall its not bad... :)
HA...I see your point. But my wife was pissed that she drove it two winters and never knew it had a heated steering wheel. The used BMW dealer never showed her where it was. And how often do you really look at your steering column ??
@Find the Right Road - Lol ig that’s a fair point, but then again I’m rather OCD so I learn EVERYTHING about a car before I look at buying it, not saying others don’t, I prob just take a bit more time then others might

Sounds like you have a lot more to say about your situation than the video makers. We are all at different points in our lives.
I'm ready to use this car with 7 problems
No phone holder increases motivation to not use a phone while driving also to enjoy the car
There's one good place to put your phone it's in between your emergency break and the shift knob that's what I do.
This video title should be "7 things my BMW 435i lacks compared to a 6 figure car"

@@FindtheRightRoad sir it’s actually a very good video, and is very professionally made.
bmw has always had you pull the door handle twice.. are you new??
Yes. The only other BMW we owned was an old X5 for a few months.
Try Sports Mode.... ????? Problem solved!
I just got this exact car. I like the car but at low speed there's a whistling/humming sound which goes away at higher speed. I don't hear it when the windows are up. Do you get the same noise? I'm thinking it's wind.
Wow you can’t start the car remotely? The heated steering wheel button is behind the steering wheel? Wow just throw the whole car away
