Demise is strong only if you don't use ties and parshat. Because this version is more on hand monster and beatdown. Desire is more stronger, because you play a lot of copies of the cards, and desire don't have the clause that you cannot special summon, so, it is better.
mile58 It technically is semi competitive b/c of Ties of the Brethren. All you'd need to do is add hand traps like Ghost Ogre and Maxx C and there you go

Well, you have to play desire if you want more powerplay, so mastershit is not that helpful. And this version is not even the competitive one, so it not play with a lot of floodgate that you can abuse
The point of the deck is not to deck out your opponent. You use the new trap to summon Parshath, deal damage to your opponent and fetch more traps with his effect. But to get your plays going, you need to set as many traps as possible and, ideally, to have fairies on the field, hence the need to draw as much as possible. In my build, not only do I play Desires, but I also play Duality and will play Demise as soon as we get the reprint. Your win condition, is truly to prevent your opponent from playing just long enough to be able to set up your counter traps loop with Parshath.
3 ties,, that's 6000 life point cost, and before the solemns and the parashaft traps aswell, what happens if the opponent gets rid of the pendulum monsters very quickly, I won't use all that risk all my lifepoints like that,
I like to play at least one light barrier statue so i can resolve ties first turn and bring it out along with honest and bounce the honest back to the hand to give the opponent something to deal with and force waste his/her resources as soon as possible. Thats what i do in my herald deck so will be doing it in this one as well. Im just wondering how ima incorporate a link engine in this...damn link format :p

And you can always toss the 2nd copy of Angel Paladin Arch-Parshath to the Graveyard as cost for cards like Twin Twisters to destroy 2 back row, plus She can also be Special Summoned from the Graveyard as well. She’s not really that cloggy though. She can also be Special Summoned straight from the deck too. And She’s the Boss Monster of the deck so you want 2 of her as opposed to the “normal” 3. You normally want 3 copies of the Boss Monster for that specific reason because of it being the “Boss” Monster, and if you’re not playing 3 you might not be playing the deck right(although an argument of 2 of a Boss Monster can be made for certain ones though).
Ashlin Demeritte Good luck with testing out this deck! Even though you will have a full 15 card Extra Deck the only card you’ll be going into really is Avenging Knight Parshath and that’s about it, the rest are there just in case you feel the need to use them.

Bountiful Artemis has been outclassed by three new cards comin' in the Structure Deck. Minerva can just return the fallen Counter Trap Card, Valkyria give you more Fairy Monster to hand, and Sanctum of Parshath can easily return the fallen Monster/Trap cards to the Deck.

Akash Ramcharan yes : revealing a card from hand isn't among the costs that ariadne cancels. Ariadne is only preventing you from discarding a card or paying lp as a cost to activate a counter trap.
Sota Steelwing Mine does as well and yes the card advantage that Bountiful Artemis provides is awesome but the deck isn’t fully reliant on him like Counter Fairy Decks were before though.

Counter Traps aren’t normally searchable in any deck whatsoever are they? This deck isn’t a “Normal” deck, it’s a Counter Fairy Deck... which means every card in our decks are 100% searchable.
