Land isn't just "land" ie. how it can be used and managed is in many instances down to many years of experience. Knowing its soils, drainage, exposure to sun and shelter, ALL determine the viability of crop and yields. Small farms have largely survived on this knowledge being passed down parents to children. It is NOT the case that government or BlackRock can come in and do the same. They won't be able to do that; and the result will be less efficiency, and in some eventualities, land abandonment.
