Any company that asks you to remove a video instead of saying how can we make the product better or whatever, yah they need to go. Good on B&W for doing the right thing.
The entire RV industry is corrupt after 20 years of RVing we sold our RV and are selling our truck and we are done. Lippert is a huge reason for this as they make or have a part in the products in most RV manufacturers. I should not have to warranty major components such as leaf springs and axles on a fifth wheel due to their poor quality control. Frames should not be cracking die to poor quality control.
This is one reason we have watched your channel for so long. You are very fair in your reviews and when something negative needs to be said it's warranted and not for drama. I point a lot of people to your hitch reviews for this reason.

Unfortunately Lippert is used in some fashion in almost every RV. There seem to be no incentive for Lippert or RV manufactures to do better. Almost every long term RV review has some complaint about a Lippert product. It’s a sad reality of the RV Industry.
Lippert is nothing more than a big conglomerate and they couldn’t care less about the consumer. And in my experience dealing with them they don’t stand behind their components either. Unfortunately they’ve bought out so many smaller companies that used to make great products and made them cheaper and charge more money.
Glad to see you stood your ground and ethics. Hard for many people to do the right thing, your family, esp the kids will be happy your a good role model. Keep up the good work!

2 weeks ago I installed Lippert's Road Armour Equalizer. To my surprise when I had to order the HD wet bolt kit, I found out that the kit was almost $300. (Now the kit has 8 HD shackles, 14 wet bolts and 14 nuts). It's a bag of nuts, bolts and shackles and the charge $290!) On top of that the shackles were out off tolerance. They did not seat properly. I reordered and got the same of quality. I ended up having to file out the holes so the shackles would slide on to the shackle assembly. Just amazed at the price... probably $10 of hardware. What a rip off. I appreciate you following your integrity compass.

It never ceases to amaze me that a Company that starts off great, Is completely transparent and listens to criticism from its customers and makes changes ti make improvements suddenly decides that business model that has made them one of the great companies in an industry suddenly decides to get greedy and starts doing shady things like all 3 things you pointed out. I would not be one bit suprized if they end up closing up shop in the middle of the night with in the nextyear or two. When people are depending on your products while they are hundreds of miles away from home, They want quality. I do not always agree with how you test or the reasoning behind an opinion that you have, but you do honest reviews and video your testing so we can make our own informed decisions. Out of curiosity, Have had an upper managements change since your first signed on with them? Thanks for doing what you do and keeping it honest.
Allow me to throw this out. I’ve had issues with my 2007 Monaco Dynasty. I bought a new step controller from Lippert and a new gear plate and motor from another provider. I rebuilt the steps and ended up with the same problem. I called the tech department at Lippert and spoke with them. They went above and beyond trying to help me with the issue. They sent me the manual for the steps and a new gear plate for free. The employees have always been great to me. Maybe their equipment sales suck but their parts department and tech people rock.
I have been frustrated with my Lippert auto-leveling system. But what frustrates me the most is that Lippert buys up all these other companies. I can't stand that they don't have competition. Competition is good for the consumer, and Lippert doesn't like it and buys up everything they see. I didn't even know Lippert owns Ranch Hand, I'll never buy that product now. I don't want Lippert to go away, I want other companies to compete with Lippert, forcing Lippert to have to innovate and become more competitive. I personally started to dislike Lippert because of a previous social media guy, "the Mustache." but it has just gone down hill from there.

the Gazebo That you talk about in the video I bought for about $159 three years ago and people freak out when they find out how much I paid for it and they're paying four hundred five hundred at some of the big stores. If you look around on the Internet, you can beat all the big camping stores prices big time. Glad to see somebody standing up for the consumers of great video.

I agree with another comment someone made...when a company doesn't stand behind their products that are poorly made or defective and resort to bullying tactics instead, said companies do not deserve my business. Bought glass patio door inserts from lippert for my toy hauler. Were broken when arrived due to ridiculous packaging. Explained to customer service issues with packaging and they were good about sending out replacement but packed the same with broken parts again. I was able to salvage enough from the two shipments to make it work with another shipment of connectors sent to me. Lippert customer support was very nice but packaging incompetence cost them. Maybe why their prices are so high. We do love our patio doors even though costly.
I love Brinkley and Outdoors RV. Grand Design has been through the ringer but behind the scenes I am seeing some promise on the other side. We will see what happens. Talk is cheap!
Good for you. We have bought a few accessories from Lippert - mainly things that either match a LCI component we already have (like a screen guard for a door) or something we liked that could not be obtained elsewhere easily. Price being the main reason - too dang expensive compared to other options. The old adage “caveat emptor” (let the buyer beware) is always a good one to keep in mind. Their sin is not being expensive or charging for shipping - it’s asking a reviewer to compromise his integrity and take down a legit review when the product manager should be talking to you to figure out how to improve the product and achieve real value. That’s the difference between entrepreneurs and sham artists.
Of course they are welcome to charge what they want... but to build a "community" around those products and overcharge that "community" for the same items that can be had for 1/2 price or less seems shady and I was not OK with it.
You're spot on and right about these large corporation RV providers. There is nobody closer to a monopoly in the business than Lippert. Every manufacturer out there seems to be locked in to something that they provide. My toy hauler came with the Tire-Linc module already installed and wired up. Of course this was a ploy since I had to purchase the sensors and then get a monitor that would display the information to use it. The 2.5" monitor cost as much or more as an entire system that I could get on Amazon. And to pour salt in the wound, the one from Lippert was not nearly as good. There is nothing wrong and they aren't breaking any law as far as I know selling things 2-3 times more expensive than you can buy elsewhere, so buyer beware. I bought 4 legs for my bench seats that fold down from a third party RV parts supplier. They were the exact same as the Lippert ones and all 4 cost what one did from Lippert. There are way too many 3rd party providers out there that provide parts and accessories of better quality and lower prices. I advise you to shop around. Stay safe!
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I couldn't be more pleased with the service I've gotten from Lippert with axle issues on my 2600RB. I had a slightly bent axle and they shipped me two all new axles with brakes, new leaf springs, the whole works. Basically I have an all new RV between the floor and the ground. I think it may depend which business unit you deal with, but the axles and suspension team are fantastic.
I am not likely to comment much on YT. But just thought I would give you a thumbs up. I found your channel when researching hitch options. Curt came with my gently used GD 3250 and I will use it for a while, but now looking at a Weigh Safe based on your reviews. I love their 360 hitch and have recommended it for years. Appreciate your content and thanks for your videos. Like your open minded approach with frank opinions included.

I am here to tell you, if you don’t subscribe or watch videos / channels like Wandering Weekends and you own or are thinking about an RV, no one wants to hear it. I watched Kory for well over a year before I purchased my GD TT. Honest, truthful, and real. Now I will say that my Soft Start surge protector was a mistake and I am unhappy with my WeighSafe HD hitch. That’s a “me” thing though.
The SoftStart worked very well for me but apparently it had many issues for others. They have developed a new "super heavy duty" version that looks promising. We will see.
I remember when Lippert showed up in our community, I believe sometime in the early 90's. They went around buying up Mom & Pop RV accessory providers, and in no time destroyed the quality of the original product and replaced it with a reasonable facsimile of the original that was pure profit for them, and eventual misery for their customers. This really makes a person wonder how deep these 5th wheel frame failures thingy will go. 🤑
I think it’s time to start looking at Grand design as well. As the owner of a brand new imagine 3100 I’ve had many problems that one shouldn’t have out of a brand new trailer. We thought we were upgrading from our stick and Tin Jayco Jayflight, but I don’t think we really did lol.
I've been in business over 30 years with two companies and have done much the same, in the long run your better off. The corporate greed wheel never ceases to amaze me, as for the request to take down you honest review video is just a bit much but censorship is alive and well. Pat yourself on the back you deserve it.
That’s great you’re letting people know your thoughts on this company. I’ve seen this with other businesses and get frustrated knowing they are flat ripping people off. I’m a search for the best deal and compare prices person and the more I save on the purchase the better especially on the same brand products.
Don't have a lure in the water in this debate. However - it would be 3-4x for landed to retail - there is a lot more involved than profit. Also, maybe not Lippert - but often the home company overprices on purpose so that they do not undercut their resellers. The inflated price allows resellers to offer much better pricing. Appreciate your video and have more concerns about the RV industry than I can list here.
Cory, fairly new to RV’ing, and i noticed that Lippert products are always breaking and made like crap! I would never buy Lippert products to replace a part. When i find out i have a Lippert part i replace it…
We bought a new couch off amazon that were from lippert The boxes were trashed when they came sent first 3 back and the 2nd 3 were damaged too but delivery guy left them when I wasn’t home We returned them and got our money back. They were terrible like there frames. china junk.

Of course they are welcome to charge what they want... but to build a "community" around those products and overcharge that "community" for the same items that can be had for 1/2 price or less seems shady and I was not OK with it.
You're spot on and right about these large corporation RV providers. There is nobody closer to a monopoly in the business than Lippert. Every manufacturer out there seems to be locked in to something that they provide. My toy hauler came with the Tire-Linc module already installed and wired up. Of course this was a ploy since I had to purchase the sensors and then get a monitor that would display the information to use it. The 2.5" monitor cost as much or more as an entire system that I could get on Amazon. And to pour salt in the wound, the one from Lippert was not nearly as good. There is nothing wrong and they aren't breaking any law as far as I know selling things 2-3 times more expensive than you can buy elsewhere, so buyer beware. I bought 4 legs for my bench seats that fold down from a third party RV parts supplier. They were the exact same as the Lippert ones and all 4 cost what one did from Lippert. There are way too many 3rd party providers out there that provide parts and accessories of better quality and lower prices. I advise you to shop around. Stay safe!

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I couldn't be more pleased with the service I've gotten from Lippert with axle issues on my 2600RB. I had a slightly bent axle and they shipped me two all new axles with brakes, new leaf springs, the whole works. Basically I have an all new RV between the floor and the ground. I think it may depend which business unit you deal with, but the axles and suspension team are fantastic.

Curt came with my gently used GD 3250 and I will use it for a while, but now looking at a Weigh Safe based on your reviews. I love their 360 hitch and have recommended it for years. I am here to tell you, if you don’t subscribe or watch videos / channels like Wandering Weekends and you own or are thinking about an RV, no one wants to hear it. I watched Kory for well over a year before I purchased my GD TT. Honest, truthful, and real. Now I will say that my Soft Start surge protector was a mistake and I am unhappy with my WeighSafe HD hitch. That’s a “me” thing though.
The SoftStart worked very well for me but apparently it had many issues for others. They have developed a new "super heavy duty" version that looks promising. We will see.
I remember when Lippert showed up in our community, I believe sometime in the early 90's. They went around buying up Mom & Pop RV accessory providers, and in no time destroyed the quality of the original product and replaced it with a reasonable facsimile of the original that was pure profit for them, and eventual misery for their customers. This really makes a person wonder how deep these 5th wheel frame failures thingy will go. 🤑
I think it’s time to start looking at Grand design as well. As the owner of a brand new imagine 3100 I’ve had many problems that one shouldn’t have out of a brand new trailer. We thought we were upgrading from our stick and Tin Jayco Jayflight, but I don’t think we really did lol.

I've been in business over 30 years with two companies and have done much the same, in the long run your better off. The corporate greed wheel never ceases to amaze me, as for the request to take down you honest review video is just a bit much but censorship is alive and well. Pat yourself on the back you deserve it.

That’s great you’re letting people know your thoughts on this company. I’ve seen this with other businesses and get frustrated knowing they are flat ripping people off. I’m a search for the best deal and compare prices person and the more I save on the purchase the better especially on the same brand products.
Don't have a lure in the water in this debate. However - it would be 3-4x for landed to retail - there is a lot more involved than profit. Also, maybe not Lippert - but often the home company overprices on purpose so that they do not undercut their resellers. The inflated price allows resellers to offer much better pricing. Appreciate your video and have more concerns about the RV industry than I can list here.
Cory, fairly new to RV’ing, and i noticed that Lippert products are always breaking and made like crap! I would never buy Lippert products to replace a part. When i find out i have a Lippert part i replace it…
They were better when they were “LCI”. Even then they were only the cheaper but acceptable product. JMO.
We bought a new couch off amazon that were from lippert The boxes were trashed when they came sent first 3 back and the 2nd 3 were damaged too but delivery guy left them when I wasn’t home We returned them and got our money back. They were terrible like there frames. china junk.
