Gemmy Halloween 2022 Prototype Lightshow Emoteglow Monster Stake

Thanks ‪@groovinprops9716‬​⁠​⁠, for getting this for me at The Castle of Muskogee.
This item bears a striking resemblance to the original 2012 Lightshow Monster Head and Life Size, which both went unreleased.
Two of these have surfaced, the earlier model with darker skin (seen in this video), and a later model with a slightly different head mold and lighter skin (also seen on the box).
A Pumpkin version of this was released in 2022 and sold exclusively at Walmart Canada:

Also, it doesn’t use batteries but for some reason has an in box try me jack.

Such an awesome item, and it’s unfortunate that the original and this one didn’t make it to production. To offer a bit more information on the 2012 one, when Chase and I were at the Gemmy HQ, we were lucky enough to get a chance to look through some files and came across the lightshow monster head, but according to an employee, since they recently updated the file system, anything before 2013 would only show up on a backed up hard drive they had so we saw the item description, number, dates for the stages of prototyping but sadly no pictures or videos.

That’s actually really cool, odd choice for the design to be reused/remade tho even tho it went unreleased.
