About the names. Pay attention - 1:23 he sings "Do svidanya, Nastya" though in original it was "Anya". That's because Nastya is actually correct short form of the name Anastasia in Russian. And unlike the heroine, who could forget her real name like all her past, Rasputin really has to know it. Thats why I love this adaptation so much :) (and so Vladimir is actually not Vlad, its Vova. Vlad is for Vladislav)

You are right, but "Anya" is her alias after amnesia, so both versions are acceptable.
P.S. sorry for my bad english

@@user-tk9uz5tk7t True, but at the time he sings this song, he has no way of knowing her alias. Hell, he only learned of her survival five minutes prior, tops. And Bartok himself only found out three seconds before the phylactery dragged him back to Rasputin so he didn't have time to learn it either.

Right! When I was a child, I didn't understand why it is Anya in English. Now I see, that it is probably easier for English-speakers to understand who is who, but that's still incorrect ;)

The text has been redone. Here is an approximate translation (part manually, part with an online translator) back into English.
Alexander Buinov sings (quite a famous singer in the 90s-2000s in Russia)
    (0:11 - 0:30)
In the darkness of the night I was still tossing around in a nightmare.
I dreamed that it crumbled like scales
The whole body is in pieces at once.
And I howled with anguish -
Because this crumbling body was me!
    (0:30 - 0:40)
I was the most mystical spirit of Russia,
I was treacherously betrayed by the entire royal family.
I took revenge, as Satan takes revenge,
Only one was saved by a miracle.
Beware, Rasputin will settle with you!
(Everything in the darkness of the night is connected with revenge)
(Everything in the darkness of the night is connected in revenge)
    (0:57 - 1:06)
    The curse will find
    This girl is here,
(All in the darkness of the night)
    Feels death.
    (1:10 - 1:28)
    Gradually my strength is returning,
I'll tie my belt and spray the spirits.
A terrible ending awaits the princess
I'll tell her: "The ball is over!"
Goodbye, Nastya, your hour has come!
    (1:29 - 1:45)
(And in the darkness of the night, horror will be born.)
    I'll will show her!
(And evil lurks in the darkness of the night.)
    Death threatens her,
    Because Rasputin does not sleep!
(And in the darkness of the night)
    Death is scarier.
    (1:45 - 2:05)
(Everything in the darkness of the night is connected with revenge (Evil is power))
(All in the darkness of the night of fear and Heaven (We are the power))
Fear and Heaven, it's done and goodbye!
(All in the darkness of the night)
(All in the darkness of the night)
    (2:05 - 2:13)
Hey, all the evil spirits that controlled by me, *
    Fly to her like arrow!
(And in the darkness of the night)
(And in the darkness of the night)
    (2:15 - 2:25)
    Let them end this unfortunate!
(And in the darkness of the night)
(And in the darkness of the night)
(And in the darkness of the night)
    She's will being finished!
*I will explain for this place:
It translates as "Evil spirits", but in Russian there is another word with a slightly different meaning.
Evil spirits are just evil spirits. The word "Nechist'" is also used here, which literally translates as "Uncleans".
Such a word in Russia (and several Slavic countries) was called the dark forces that harm people. And it's not just spirits.
Did you play "The Witcher"? Here all the monsters there can be called "Uncleans". I think it will be clearer this way.
Sometimes this word is also applied to some people...
In general, Slavic mythology is very extensive. We are an ancient people and naturally our way of life goes back to pagan times. However, only small fragments have reached our time. All this was erased in the late 990s, when "Christianization" took place. Paganism was replaced by a mixture of paganism and Christianity. This is how "Orthodoxy" appeared - a stricter form of Christianity. We still have some pagan holidays, by the way ;)

      Good job!
Though I wanna add a small correction: the word "spirits" at 1:16 is not the right translated term for the word "duhov"
The original form "Duhi" or as Google spells it "Dukhi"(the k is silent) is a homograph aka it has several meanings depending on what syllable is emphasized, similar to the English "minute" (emphasis on I means a unit of time;emphasis on u means small)
      The meanings can be:
1)spirits, which is what you got, if "du" is emphasized (also Rasputin says the singular form of this meaning on 0:31 "...mystical *spirit* of Russia")
2)perfume or cologne(like in the original English version), if the "hi/hov" is emphasized (this translation is also similar to the words like clothes, pants etc. in that it doesn't have a singular form)
      Either way, I salute effort

I've listened to this cartoon in English, Italian and Russian but the Russian version is my favorite of all.
All the songs are perfectly great in Russian while In English for example some of the songs have high musical notes that in the lyrics are a bit high and sometimes disturbing (but not because the song isn't beautiful, only because of the pronunciation in the song).
You see this thing for example if you compare "Paris holds the key to your heart" in both the languages (English and Russian).
But by the way all versions are extremely beautiful and appreciated so don't get mad at me.

No chance, man! 🥲 Disney owns it like Rasputin owned the movie. Only parts with him and Gavrilo Prinzip were good. The rest had no sense whatsoever and was boring. Why could not they have gun sellers as villains they got motive to cause war. The more guns are sold the more money they earn. That is how it is in Sherlock Holmes Games of Shadow.

    i remembered the
    Master and Margarita of
    Mikhail Afanasievich Bulgakov
the book how Profesor Woland(germ.Devil) visited the Soviet Moscow in may of 1936
Bulgakov was inspired with the Faust
    (by the way in real live Rasputin was the friend of the last emperor of Russian Empire, he was killed 16 december of 1916; and real Anastasia Románova with her family was killed by the Bolsheviks in the end of Word War 1;
    real history of Russia :
in 1153 Yury Dolgoruky trated Kiev and Galician princes because he could have tremendous power over the finno-ugrians and dint pay tribute to Kiev and the principality became independent from Ruthenia
    (so Vladimir-Suzdal princuality became independent)
later his son, Bogolyubsky, robbed Kiev, and stole the icon of the Mother of God, symbolically transferring the Metropolitan from Kiev to Suzdal, later to Vladimir
in 1272, Khan Mengu Timur made Moscow the center for collecting tribute if region for the Golden Horde (actually founded Moscow anew) and in 1277 he made the son of Alexander Nevsky (Daniel Alexandrovich) its first prince and married him to his daughter
so the Rurik dynasty and the Chingizisch dynasty intermixed.
this is how Muscovy was founded.
in the 15th century, the Golden Horde disintegrated and Muscovy becomes independent
the son of Ivan the Terrible (the last heir of Rurik and Genghis dynasty) died in the 16th century
and at the beginning of the 17th century, the finnish landowner from the Kobyla family - Alexei Koshka at baptism (honorable in order to become tsar/king) received the surname Romanov
in 1721 Peter the Great renamed the Moscow Tsardom into the Russian Empire and began to actively falsify history on the basis of documents liquidated from captured Ruthenia (Ukraine)
in 1917 the Russian empire ceases to exist, in 1922 the formation of the USSR in 1932-33 Holodomor (artificial famine) in Ukraine organized by Yosef Stalin
1941-1945 - the Great Patriotic war
    1986 - Chernobyl disaster
in 1991 - the collapse of the USSR
in 1993 RSFSR was renamed into RF

True. But the problem is Orthodox patriachy thought him a heretic for his scandalous romances with many women. And the tsar's son had hemophilia so every time he got hurt he could end up running out of blood. Only Rasputin knew how to make the child recover from it. Tsar also did not have good relationship with the rest of his family. And he just didn't have strong character at all
