I remember when i saw this movie the first time it was my 4th birthday and so i watched it. Now at the time kids my age watching this movie usually wanna see action about 90% of the movie.but this one captures more than just butt kicking action. It captured every aspect of what a teen in a new environment goes through. You got the im not too thrilled to move stage in the beginning to right away making friends to stumbling into adversaries and yet somehow running into a person of wisdom, just all these things that you think about as you go to school or hang with friends, thinking about girls. So yeah thid movie was never really about fighting although yes thats what takes place in the but it wasnt even about the fight itself which daniel wanted that respect from the cobra kai making a statement like hey im still here havent gave up yet.
I was stationed Kaneohe Bay Marine Corp Air Station during the filming of the first karate kid movie. I was blessed to meet both stars, pat was a soft spoken kind man, we met at a market on the side of the road near Honolulu. Daniel I met him at a latter time, he was very kind young man, both men were easy to talk to. They had ask me questions about my enlistment, and the countries I had traveled to. I told both I truly enjoyed the movie, and liked how you showed good over evil! Pat said I have a secret, he said we are going to make more movies of the karate kid. I smiled thanked him. I Shaked both there hands and thanked them for there time. I was stationed at kbay 83-87.
Anyone who has been on the mats or in the ring know the fear I'm pleased you put the turn and kneel in mine was because I lost my temper he was in the middle of what I may say was a decent flying kick I was aiming for a body shot but yes I put a little to much force in yes I won but not the right way to me empty hand is more or karate is about learning the body yes in some of my other systems we trained weapons but the film I really liked that you showed the philosophy behind the art that ment a lot to martial arts people
After Watching the Karate Kid, back in 85, I Learnt Tai Kwon Do, not because of Daniel son?, nah, the Excellent Moves the Cobra Kai made?, WAS THE BEST MOVIE TO THIS DAY? that I had ever influenced me!, as well as Many others around the world?, at that age?. Cheers.

I really loved the first movie so much. I never ever get tired of watching it. I fell in love with Mr Myiagi. I also wanted him to teach me . I put some of his training into my daily routine. RIP my good friend. Your still missed.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was in 4th grade when this came out. I remember walking the 2mi to the movie theater with some friends of mine to watch it.
I remember when i saw this movie the first time it was my 4th birthday and so i watched it. Now at the time kids my age watching this movie usually wanna see action about 90% of the movie.but this one captures more than just butt kicking action. It captured every aspect of what a teen in a new environment goes through. You got the im not too thrilled to move stage in the beginning to right away making friends to stumbling into adversaries and yet somehow running into a person of wisdom, just all these things that you think about as you go to school or hang with friends, thinking about girls. So yeah thid movie was never really about fighting although yes thats what takes place in the but it wasnt even about the fight itself which daniel wanted that respect from the cobra kai making a statement like hey im still here havent gave up yet.

I was stationed Kaneohe Bay Marine Corp Air Station during the filming of the first karate kid movie. I was blessed to meet both stars, pat was a soft spoken kind man, we met at a market on the side of the road near Honolulu. Daniel I met him at a latter time, he was very kind young man, both men were easy to talk to. They had ask me questions about my enlistment, and the countries I had traveled to. I told both I truly enjoyed the movie, and liked how you showed good over evil! Pat said I have a secret, he said we are going to make more movies of the karate kid. I smiled thanked him. I Shaked both there hands and thanked them for there time. I was stationed at kbay 83-87.

Anyone who has been on the mats or in the ring know the fear I'm pleased you put the turn and kneel in mine was because I lost my temper he was in the middle of what I may say was a decent flying kick I was aiming for a body shot but yes I put a little to much force in yes I won but not the right way to me empty hand is more or karate is about learning the body yes in some of my other systems we trained weapons but the film I really liked that you showed the philosophy behind the art that ment a lot to martial arts people
Yeah the characters such as Mrs. Milo and the Ring Announcer don’t need to come back in Cobra Kai since both of the actors have died.
After Watching the Karate Kid, back in 85, I Learnt Tai Kwon Do, not because of Daniel son?, nah, the Excellent Moves the Cobra Kai made?, WAS THE BEST MOVIE TO THIS DAY? that I had ever influenced me!, as well as Many others around the world?, at that age?. Cheers.
