This dog came flying from around the back of the house towards me and I booked it to get in my car faster than I ever have in my entire life. Seeing an unknown dog coming towards you can be pretty scary, and idk about this lady's job, but at USPS you risk losing your job if you get bitten by an animal 😅 But that dog definitely seemed friendly so that lady was hilariously dramatic lmao

To be fair to the Amazon driver, I've seen dogs half the size of the husky attack delivery drivers and it's not uncommon to be bitten by a property owner's loose dog so while she may have seemed overdramatic/overreactive her line of work gives her every right to be overcautious of loose dogs.
But showing a dog fear is never good either. It could scare the dog even more. Best to have backed up and called for help calmly. Yes you might be scared and stressed but to do that it scares an animal.
