The rear selector works fine when the bolt is closed, it's just stiff out of the box and takes some breaking in. Would prefer that to being too loose overall. Was it ASG that told you the hammer is stronger? It looks exactly the same as the previous ones down to the mold lines and flashing - would be quite surprised if it was meaningfully stronger.
You can easily switch from semi to full? I can only switch from full to semi with the bolt closed. ASG said the hammer is stronger, IDK if it actually is. The hammer is a different color, much shinier than the original so it could be different and stronger, but it obviously isn't cnc. I'm going to specifically not upgrade the hammer to see if it breaks.
@@Wyhaq Hammer is exactly the same as the latest batch of AAPs I believe. They've had some color changes over the various batches but it's visually identical to the latest production of the normal AAP. Could be there were some changes on the last round of AAP01s and they're just saying it's stronger compared to old versions. I'm sure even if stronger the rotor tab will still break in time tbh haha, just kind of a given with the materials.
I saw the same issue with the screw and the fix for me was unscrewing the top sight and removing it. Then push the rubber back until the screw would would thread in between the slit on the rubber piece.
I will have to check again, I didn't see a slit for the screw anywhere on the rubber. I'll probably just cut it though, no reason for it to be as long as it is
@Wyhaq 100% agree it should honestly ship with a thread adapter that's reversible to show threads when using a tracer unit , then flip around and slide over the barrel to show a smooth surface if you don't use a tracer unit. That's just my opinion though haha

You won't be seeing one anytime soon. There are things about that company which I cannot support and I believe in voting with my dollar. So, no matter how cool something is I can't honestly purchase anything from them.
The bolt feels like a very unnecessary change but whatever. The isn't a deal breaker for me. It looks a lot better than the original visually. I agree with the G19 grip as well. I end up chopping all of mine anyway.
@Wyhaq True. I would like to see a $150USD price point AAP version that's just sweet out of the box. The AAP at $100USD is a great deal but I'd be willing to dish out the extra $50 to have all the seems match up and the mag not wiggle, you know?

Always preferred the shorter Glock19 slide but wished for a Glock17 Grip. It was resolved with the Glock45. This AAP-01C reminds me of that. Before I get one, which holster works for this model?

They are very similar performance. The original does have a higher velocity due to the longer inner barrel.
