    My wife never learned to ride a bike, either, which boggled my mind when I learned it. I love DPA - they're just so hysterically down to earth. I also loved that they just answered all of the questions without batting an eye, and only drank voluntarily in solidarity with each other :)

      @@MrsRealistic Where I lived as young you had to ride a bike in order to get to school but kids in larger cities being close to everything and really dangerous traffic and nowhere to place a bike hardly learned to ride them. Nowadays people use public communication to go somewhere and if they have a bike it will be stolen within a week anyway. 😆
      You are not a bad girl if you have a relation in their age. It's just that it's more difficult for them. It would be weird if they didn't. They all drink alcohol btw, but Ale can't order a drink when they are in the US. That made them laugh.

      @@TheUnderdogDe Mexican traffic - especially in big cities - is no joke. About the only place I've been with more aggressive drivers is Boston - people are _insane_ there. But the worst places in the US are very respectful and cooperative compared to many places in Mexico. I've never been to Monterrey, but I would not at all be surprised to find the same thing there, which does indeed probably explain the lack of bicycle training. It would be a tad hazardous, especially for a young kid just learning.

    You gotta remember they were focused 100% on their instruments by the time they were like, 6, so bike riding probably was a side thought. Yeah they either tell the truth, or take a shot, and since they are all brutally honest with each other, no shots were necessary LOL! And I love how quiet, reserved young Miss Ale does NOT take any of Pau's sh*t! 2:02 First when Pau said she's a rebel when asked who would go to jail, that double-eye roll from Ale is priceless. Then the whole "favor" discussion at 10:48 Ale went into full 'Mom' mode with the finger shaking 'nonononono', putting Pau's hands back down on the table to calm her down, then 'You are talking to the WRONG person' LOL!! Ale taking charge of that discussion. 🤣🤣

    The game kind of backfired here. They are so comfortable and familiar with each other, that the "drink" portion (when you won't answer, for whatever reason) never really happens. The "truth" portion is no problem for them to do - they have no problem with that, especially with each other. The funniest bit to me is Dany saying, "I'm gonna pee my pants!!" because she's laughing so hard. 😁

Kudos to their parents for keeping them level-headed and smart about alcohol and drugs in a business where we have lost so many great talents to both. As a single father, I know how tough it is. @@MrsRealistic That was when she stopped routinely playing her red custom bass on tour. I think she realized that if she'd landed differently, she might have destroyed a one-of-a-kind instrument. She switched to playing the blue one after that. They're basically identical, but the blue one is an off-the-shelf instrument. It's still close to a $10,000 bass, but it can at least be replaced.
      She has gone back to playing the red one on the current tour on a couple of songs, notably Automatic Sun and Six Feet Deep, because those songs require alternative tunings, and it's easier to switch instruments than to stand there on stage and retune.

Our kids are pretty insulated from a lot of the stuff that public school kids are a part of. But with the craziness going on these days, I would much rather have them a little sheltered, than have them experience the awful things I went through. There's a reason the girls never learned to ride bikes of their much younger age. They learned to play the piano much early on. Then they played Rockband. Started to learn those instruments. They stayed away from physical activities that might ruin their passion. Damaging their hands.

    They cant ride a bike dew to the fact that if they fell they would hurt their hands or arms and if they had a break it would take too long to recover enough to play shows etc . . Its the same reason the never played sports . . .

    I don't think taking them out of school was her answer because I think it has always sounded like a decision they were all in on, although they have mentioned it before. The bike thing maybe due to living where it's really hilly. And I'm pretty sure suburban Monterrey is very hilly. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm guessing.

  • @Pascal-the-Rascal

    To be honest, I don't think any of them would ever end up in jail, I get the feeling that their moral compass always points to the north, maybe north west or north east, but never south. That's why the MV for Que Mas Quieres feels a bit out of character, it's just not like the sweetest badasses in the world 😄Pau may claim to be a rebel, but I have seen images of her where her smile tells me she's a total sweetheart, there doesn't seem to be a bad bone in that body. When it comes to them hooking up with fans, I don't really see why they should, or would want to. When they're touring, they probably have their hands full, and are probably fully focused on performing, resting between performances, and getting ready for the next one. No time for any of that, as Pau said. I hope they meet the loves of their lives at some point though, being single is boring and lonely, believe me, I know.

    • @MrsRealistic
      @MrsRealistic  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I think eventually the touring probably has to die down a bit... and as they get older, and their parents don't tour with them...I think that will fall into place.

    • @Pascal-the-Rascal
      @Pascal-the-Rascal หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yeah, I hope so, I remember reading through their tour schedule, and I thought, damn, do they ever come up for air? I think their song "Hell You Call A Dream" is about the ups and downs of touring, so they seem to be well aware. It would surprise me if they weren't, intelligence seems to be one of their biggest traits. I really don't want to see them burn out. Burnout is, as it happens, the title of one of their other songs 😄 But I think it's going to be ok, they are young and full of energy at the moment, and I think they know themselves and eachother well enough to realize when it's time to to slow down, and take a break. They have many years left to do what they love, and we, the fans, have more amazing albums by The Warning to look forward to.

Yeah, it would be wonderful to be young again, I'm kinda sad that life didn't come with a rewind button, if it did, I would change some of the story elements of my life, as it is now, it doesn't feel particularly well written, with some plot holes here and there 😆All I know is, in my next life, I want to be a beautiful, badass, intelligent, and nice woman, crushing it on drums, electric guitar, or bass. Well, I gave it 21 hours to surface, but my comment on Ginger shots definitely got lost.
    I was saying (between the other two comments below) that a ginger shot is a reward, I drink one every morning - it's been my main protection against covid, colds and flu the last 4 years. Half my family had covid, some twice - I was exposed to all of them during their pre-symptomatic contagious phase - never came down with it - nor any proper flu the last 4 years either.
    One last thought about the Warning Sisters - they are now becoming the real-deal , the Villa-Reality channel - move aside Kardashians, these young women have the gold standard in wholesome reality shows.

      Kardashians 🤢 The Warning are classy...Kardashians are trash (sorry, not sorry 😄) And as far as ginger goes...I actually juice my own ginger that I add to my home made Kombucha. When we got covid back in 2021, my hubby (who loathes both ginger and Kombucha) was quite sick...low o2, fever for 2 weeks... it was awful for him. The kids had a headache for 2 days... and we're back to normal... and I just kind of lost my appetite, nausea and loss of taste and smell (which we all had)... but no fever, my o2 was totally normal. My father in law actually commented that "Maybe it's all that Kombucha you drink!" 😄🙌
