What is the difference between appropriate accompaniment and improvise solo
Yikes, there is a big question. Well appropriate accompaniment would suggest that you are accompanying another imstrument, so not putting yourself front and centre if that makes sense, but assisting the other solo instrument/voice. So following the general feel and theme of the music. Improved solo is you, front and centre.

What's the difference between Hot Rocks and normal Grade? is it a seperate book completely?..
It is a separate book of extra songs you can use for a grade. So for your grade you have to do 1 of the songs from the official book, but your other 2 could be hot rock songs (now called classics).
