Vegetable & Fruit Shopping On The Mainland With Our Village Executive Chef👨🏾‍🍳🇫🇯

In this vlog we are in the mainland to do some shopping for the upcoming birthday function.
We brought our own chef to make sure that he buys all the indgridents that are needed for all his dishes that he is going to cook.
Suva market is a Big market Where you Can buy alot of veggies and fruits. Just make sure you have enough money with you as there are alot of good options.

Ive always been curious as to why taro is sold in fiji with the stalk. Admittedly, im a consumer of it, not a grower...and in Rarotonga you can buy it already, peeled raw or cooked.

If you cut out the stalk, the taro starts rotting very quickly so the stalk is there to prolong its life until bought and consumed.
