Our DBs need to learn to look for the ball or it is going to eventually cost us a game. We have been pretty lucky the last 3 games and please stop diving at the ankles. I was always taught to keep my eyes on the opponents belly button, stay on your feet, put your shoulder pad in their gut, and drive through them. I was made to run laps if I ever tried that Ankle dive junk.
Matt, you gave me a good laugh! We too were taught the same, eyes only on the belt - it doesn't juke whereas the head and feet do. It was "gassers forever" if we failed.
I noticed in last nights game that on kickoffs, the 1st wave of "tacklers" would not put their bodies on the line, as if cowards , leaving it to the 2nd line who liked to arm-tackle...UGH!
Off the top of my head our weakest points in order are: LB, DB, and, getting scary, now the QB. Close behind are, save 2, the whole of the WRs - glaringly above-average. Lacking speed, no one leaves their DB in the dust. They were supposed to be one of our strengths but languish for lack of playing experience/coaching!
Where is our pride 'n joy PASS RUSH??? WYO's QB had time to read War & Peace back there.
Oregon State will not go quietly into the night (err morning). When will our beloved Danielson quit saying, "We have to clean that up!" after nearly every game???

Totally agree my friend. Unfortunately, BSU has a habitual history of getting worse as the season goes on instead of cleaning up the little things. Teams they should be blowing out are being allowed to keep it way too close.@@bert-cq3ij
Better hope Jesus loves BSU more than UNLV.

Yes the DB are not confident in there tackling in a one on one….
No, they are very confident in making "air tackles". Deep down, I know Danielson is thrilled with their record of play but chagrinned at the overall quality of our team...so many loose ends to fix since he took over for Avalos.
But, with our record, sellouts, and TV exposure, I expect some really good recruits to flip to us, quality portals too, no more warm bodies! It's about winning and playing in a jammed stadium. GO BRONCOS!!!
