Uma gets a new toy in the mail. Wondering if she's allergic to it... It's that time again, unfortunately, to head back to Canada, hoping for good weather when I get there.
Great seeing Miss Uma playing with her squeaky toy, can't believe how much ice built up in such a small freezer compartment, the van looks nice and shiny for the trip north, have a good week, safe travels 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Our fridge freezes up also and we have used hot water to melt the ice. But one thing we found works better is a small hairdryer. Take out the drip pan under the freezer. We put a folded beach towel under a plastic dish tub on the top shelf. The tub collects the ice chunks and water. The towel catches any stray water and keeps the contents below dry. Heat up the inside of the freezer so that it warms up the ice and the chunks fall off. It works fast and we don’t have to take every single thing out of the fridge. But I don’t think you carry a hairdryer😄. Thanks for your videos and great tips. Safe travels.
@@ScottageOnWheels mine was a scratch and dent model on eBay so it was more than half off or I would still have the old one 😂 Jury is still out as it seems to consume a lot more power than the Norcold. Makes sense as it has 50% more capacity.

I think that the tropical weather in Mexico made the freezer ice up alot more.

Yea, no hairdryer in the van… obviously not needed for me lol 😂.
Good idea though 👍🏻
Your freezer works a lot better than my factory -installed Norcold. I finally replaced it with an Isotherm model
That looks like a really nice fridge. Comes with a big price tag too, unfortunately

@@PatsTravels that 50% capacity would be worth the extra power.
