I love doing that, makes the blast sound really beefy lol. And I definitely listened to a ton of Hate Eternal back in the day. I love that ride but recently picked up a Byzance 22" Heavy Hammered Ride and I think it's my favorite ride I've ever owned, sounds incredible!
The right China is so fucking brutal. But i think it should really be Played as an effect cymbal. Kinda annoying If Played too many Times. Losing its magic

That china sounds awesome. Really hard to get a china to not sound overwhelming when you hit it this much. 4:20 is a perfect example.
