Also had to get into some fist fights tournaments, horse races, and play some GWENT.
At my last check I had 130 hours and I only just got to Kaer Morhen. Highest level story quest I can do is 11.

Its so out of character from her book counterpart. I liked her in the first season tho, hopefully she has a different arc from her book counterpart (no spoilers, dunno if you read.)

As you saw it left an impact on a lot of people (at least 136 of the likers) and sometimes you have to make creative choices and change things to make them translate into film. Maybe it also left a bigger impact for people who haven't read the books, so they changed them to be more likeable/ impactful this way. But yeah I also hope they stay true to their version of Tissaia.

@@shodacharmed9232, from what I read of Tissaia she is practical but not necessarily heartless. She prepares the girls for a harsh world with even harsher realities, and in light of that, it makes her seem almost heartless. I personally love the emotion that the actress is portraying because it does well for the character.
Kim Bodnia will be playing as Vesemir. He's a Danish actor, so I understand if there's a lot of people who haven't seen him before, but let me tell you. As a Scandinavian who has seen him in a lot of movies/series, he's one of the best actors I've ever seen on screen, so you'll have a LOT to look forward to if he gets some decent screen-time.

He was Villanelle's handler on "Killing Eve" - he's terrific. Definitely deserves this gig.

(like suffocating you by putting a natty sock in your mouth and holding it there with a gleeful expression on her face as she did it ...) ..

This terrifying assassin (played by Jodie Comer, who won an Emmy for it ..) is handled by Kim Bodnia's character - acting as her only father figure.
It can't be just 3 Danish people if "Killing Eve" won multiple awards in the USA and beyond.

Season 1 was just a big introduction. Season 2 is where the series is really going to take off.
Book 1 & 2 are both collections of short stories. Season 1 was based on the first book and followed almost exactly, the second season will likely also jump back and forth if they follow book 2. Either way, I'm hyped!
Season 3 the wild hunt
I am guessing that Season 2 will cover Blood of Elves, Time of Contempt and *maybe* a bit of Baptism of Fire.

You are so wrong. Season two sucked almost as much as season 1 did.
Back in the day when you waited for a great series to return, it was worth it cause you got 20+ episode. These days you’ll be lucky to get 13 episodes out of an awesome show.
Honestly I think shows with fewer episodes are better usually shows with more than 20 ep pure seasons is a bunch of filler
I think they cost way more nowadays
Cost, Time,... a lot of others things as well but shows before didnt have the same effort put in it, the same cot, for everything (the team, you need to pay the actors, the fx if needed, sound,...etc
So yeah nowadays u get a 10 or less episodes in 1 season but it was done with tears and sweat, and it usually last longer than 40 min
Shows with 20+ episode season are good/great at best. I can't think of a single one that was ever superb.

For those of you who just want to jump right back into this story, you can read Sapkowski’s “Blood of Elves.” It picks up literally where the season 1 leaves off. It’s an excellent read too.
This trailer showed a few things the book didn't contain, I hope they take their own path in this story, and not completely copy and just add more monsters.
Ciri is way too old in the show. Im the books shes like 9-12 years old in Blood of Elves.

I immediately got chills when Fleet Foxes started singing
Definitely excited for this! Season 1 laid all the groundwork for this season with the princess and Geralt together. Excited for the new adventure
Spoiler, Season 3 is just Geralt playing Gwent for 8 episodes until he beats a champion and gains a rare card.

The witcher series is probably my favorite RPG game series ever and so far the show has been pretty good and possibly up to competing with the game.

I just finished watching The Witcher. This is one freaking awesome series just like Game of Thrones. I loved every scenes, the storytelling way and complicated timelines The Witcher travelled throughout the story and also the innocence of Cirilla. Im sure she gonna get more powerful and Witcher gonna blast all of it in Season 2. Eagerly waiting for Season 2 of The Witcher more than La casa de papel. As a GOT fan i believe this series must get more appreciation. It deserves it.
I'm currently reading The Last Wish and I got so excited when I noticed scenes from the "Grain of Truth" story.

My friend who watched the show and didn't read the books could easily spot when they are using the quotes from the source material and when they're using they're own stuff, it's terrible for such a big show

If they're smart they'll do a Cyberpunk show with her in it.

They have really good contacts in this show. A lot of contacts just look fake or make the person look like they have a lazy eye. These look legit.

High resolution condensed can still look very good and retain crisp detail.
Netflix certainly has a special deal with youtube to get better compression rate. As do most of media companies, they all have good deals with yt, that bypass any channel a normal creator has. Look at trending, try to find anything news related, it will all be polluted by big names even if their view/like counts are lower than those of real creators. As a cherry on top youtube also skews search results to silence certain content creators. Its been like this forever, they are rotten.
Nope: 1080p24, H264 and the average bitrate is 2831 Kb/s. If you want higher quality videos you need at least 1080p50 or 2160p24. There are a few 8k 60 fps videos with bitrates >60 Mb/s
