Traxxas XRT - new shoes - Louise X-Rowdy

- Hi everyone out there.
Been out today with friends for a bit of bashing and to see how the XRT goes with the new wheels/tires.
TLDR: she survived and the tires are pretty good

Essentially you can´t go wrong with those wheels/tires imho. But they are quite a bit heavier than the stock ones. So you might run into issues with temps or with the drive-train when going for some hardcore bashing. On our location things are kinda "mild" so everything was ok. That might change when the temps go up tho. And i was quite a bit sceptical because of the added weight and expected a mechanical failure of any sort ... But everthing was ok.
And it´s always surprising to see how such a "simple" thing as a tire-change changes the whole driving-characteristic of an RC ^^.
You can really feel the weight and she feels a bit less agile. For that you get a ton of grip on any surface, a bit more ground-clearance and a bit more speed because of the bigger diameter.
Since these are belted you loose a bit of air-control but nothing too crazy on that side imho.
I think Louise makes some really good wheels/tires overall. I got some on my BajaRey and my Crawlee and haven´t had any problems on them. And to be honest it´s a bit of a no-brainer for the price. I got 4 of them for just a bit more than i would have paid for a set of two of the original XRT-Tires ...
And since Traxxas isn´t offering the Rims / Rubber / Foams seperately you kinda have to look for alternatives when you have to keep an eye on your money.
Anyways, i hope this helps some of you out and that the information might help some of you.

Hi und dankeschön 🤗🙏🙏. Das ist so ne kleine bmx/mtb-Strecke im Olympiapark (München). Macht echt laune dort, vor allem weil die meisten Jumps relativ sanft sind. dang, they are heavy...
Yeah, i haven't expected them to be that much heavier than the stock ones. For now they seem to work fine but ill definitely have an eye on temps and the drivetrain. Thanks a lot for watching 🤗🙏

Yes, they are very heavy but they work just fine. As for the driving, to each their own 🤣

Hi, i ordered them online at monsterhopups which is a german online-seller. But i am pretty sure you can find them somewhere near your location also. Just tried to look some up on the Louise-page but it seems they are having technical issues atm since i could not reach it 🤔.
