Prologue: Monika Full Week
Boyfriend and Girlfriend return to the Hating Sim, and find a new person inside this time around, being Monika. She doesn't know how she got there, but she's happy to put on a show. Until things start to go wrong-
New Update: Doki Doki Takeover
After Boyfriend and Girlfriend are freed from Monika's game manipulation, they soon find themselves in Monika's very own clubroom while she's still stuck in the Hating Sim. They come across her other club members: Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri. Like usual FNF fashion, singing ensues. How does the rest of the Literature Club fare in a good ol' rap battle?

I JUST realized that guy is the player character in the original game! That means Monika must realize that the player isn't playing through him anymore.
Fun Fact: The arrows are the color of all the DDLC girls eyes. Yuri is purple, Sayori is blue, Monika is green, Natsuki is pink.
I'm not sure if the creators did it because when DDLC was first originally teased, Dan Salvato put a picture of the girl's eye colors or if they did it to just fit in with the theme.
Same thing goes for their icons.

The fact that the camera specifically focuses on Sayori every cutscene in the classroom is great. No matter who's talking its always on the side of the room where Sayori is standing and i think that's a neat detail.
I give massive props to the developers for taking my confession, the most heart wrenching song in the original game, and turning it into a joyful remix

Sad how it ends though. Despite Monika trying to redeem herself (not that anyone would have done any better in her position) she still ends up in the same trappings as before. Her “full week” mod at least gave her a nice ending, but to fade away screaming into the void is just terrifying. Even in this mod the only reason she “goes back” is in an attempt to “fix things”, which leads to her still trying to find a way out of this prison with the exception that she’s trying to free the others as well. Despite these intentions it still only ends in her deletion and banishment to the lonely, maddening static purgatory where she’s unable to even kill herself. I hope there’s a hidden ending where this bleak fate isn’t the case.

Honestly, this mod is just amazing overall. The girls are so cute when you meet them(The creator absolutely NAILED their expressions), the voices are great, the remixes are awesome, but it also reminds you that DDLC is a horror game and deals with the story/lore well. Also, this is probably the most accurate personality for GF.
“ happy gesture” is one of gf’s only lines in the mod and I have to agree lol

The graphics, the music, the plot and the characters, everything is perfect and fantastically well taken. One of my absolute favorite mods and a wonderful masterpiece and makes my heart beat Doki Doki.

By the way, there’s a whole joke in the first dialogue section for Sayori’s week with Natsuki, when she asks about BF and GF’s names, they do their thing, and Natsuki’s response is “We already know you’re dating...”
So BF and GF presumably responded with their names, Boyfriend and Girlfriend, and Natsuki got that confused and got frustrated. Understandable.

I LOOOOOVE Hex and his songs are my fave and the fact that the story mode ends off on Glitcher just makes me happier than you can imagine. AMAZING mod, just extremely amazing and well done. It all takes place after Act 3 where Monika is deleted, but Monika hasn't deleted the game yet, so she's just stuck in the Hating Simulator of FNF.
REALLY smart idea to have Sayori's fourth wall powers slowly fail as she has no way to control them, somewhat like Monika, and we see hints of the previous act's glitches and corruptions....
Also, having "Reconciliation" as a cover of DDLC+'s "My song, Your Note". THAT was just so beautiful and powerful....

this has to be THE BEST mod I have ever seen ever, so many Easter eggs. The songs are amazing the remixes and bomb like there is so much to this mod and I’m glad it was made 10/10
in my opinion i prefer dusttale 2.0, it has two endings and the story goes as the fangame of dusttale, and it has two secret songs that are not super hard because theres actual mechanics whit good arrows and not arrows whit the simple mechanic of killing you instantly, those arrows go better whit a simplier theme like in the indie crossover game whit sansational, its not so hard but its not easy either, its perfect

There's something a little creepy I noticed during "Obsession"..
If you look closely at Yuri's crazy left pose, her visible eye (not covered by her hand) seems to angle to look at the screen rather than Boyfriend (I first saw this at 34:54). This seems to happen right before another note is hit, or if Yuri's turn ends with the left note and she goes back into idle..which I find to be a very nice touch. It definitely gave me the chills when I saw her do that.
Now we'll wait for the team salvato to notice this and hope this mod to be praised(not butcher it)

This is definitely one of my favourite mods now. It’s up there with Stickman, Sonic.exe and Impostor. It just has so much effort put into it. And the covers of existing songs sounded great, Beathoven and Glitcher especially. The devs did a phenomenal job with this!
