You know how when your young you have that silly love that you feel is so real, but you realize as you get older that sometimes things just don’t work out the way you think they will because the universe just has different plans for you...? Your young and things just happen that way.. well anyway, I’m now 26 years old and I remember when my highschool bf sent me this when we broke up when I was 16. We had a long distant relationship. 3k miles away. It was like a goodbye but also like a “it was nice while it lasted” thing. I’m not sharing this to say I miss him or anything, we are so estranged now i haven’t spoken to him since but this song just reminds me of the innocence of being young and how everything felt soooo intense back then. Idk lol
As I grew older, I moved on to different music and stopped listening to NeverShoutNever. It has been a few years since listening to them and I don't even like music like this at all anymore, but their songs still give me a little happy feeling in the pit of music like before.
