Hi Jose! And thanks for your question. The broker we used was Mosquitto (latest version), running on Ubuntu Server 22.04. Quite easy to install and set up, but we struggled a bit until we figured out that we had to open the MQTT port in the firewall to allow connections over internet. Good luck!
@@mikelayani9367 Good afternoon Mikel. The mosquitto broker on the raspberry...how can "go out" to the internet...I suppose through some cloud platform...no? Sorry for the question, but I don't have much idea about mqtt. Thank you for your valuable help.
@@joseg1864 actually we just did open a port in the router to allow the broker be available through our public ip. Pretty simple solution if your internet provider can give you your own static ip address.
