- * Since I've been getting so many news knives in. I've decided to throw up a vid before I get too far behind. Only been collecting for about a year and a half now. Think I'm starting to get a respectable collection going. Left out quite a few knives, including my Emerson Rangemaster Sheepdog Bowie , Emerson Sheepdog spear point , Emerson mini CQC-15 and more! Just joined ch. gotta get me pelican case. Having spent the last 5yrs in the custom fixed blade community I’m now looking to go in the folder way of things. I use my knives. I do have a few that’s just too pretty and refuse to even let them scratch but are built to take them hard at their intended purpose. My goal is to have folders from the makers I been looking at for yrs. I have 3 folders now that I know are all I need for what I use them for. So my 2019 plan is to contact these custom and semi custom makers of the folder world. Some already know me. 2019 is gonna be the best yr for folders. So it’s now possible cause of these super steels to keep it skinny behind the edge and at low degree. We also have to make sure before we buy that hrc is correct and when it’s high we have to understand it’s gonna take more to remove metal and more swipes when honing. Also the chip factor. The stronger the steel the more likely you’ll encounter chipping. This is why high carbons will always be around. Now a w2 with hamon with ti doesn’t share the same coast and time put in for the maker compared to 20cv look out for that price point. If it’s something that attracts you that much then yes buy it and you’ll be glad you did if it continues to bring you happiness every time you pick it up.

Great collection man! Big warning though, those pelican cases are notorious for causing rust because it's easy to trap moisture inside them.

Impressive collection! If I'd held on to all the knives I've had over the past two years it would probably have filled up two of those big pelican cases, if not more. I tend to move through them pretty quickly, mostly because of finances but I just like to try out new items and review them on the channel.
Do you hand sharpen them? I do myself.
It comes from the military tactical armoury it's basically a weapon to help you in bad situations

look at kershaw, spyderco, case, HK, and crkt. you can find their cheaper models, and they are still very good
