They lost all those series because the Jazz had exactly ZERO defense outside of Rudy, meaning they had to sacrifice guarding either the paint or the perimeter as Rudy couldn't be in two places at once. This meant they were relatively easy to take down in the playoffs with just a hot shooting streak from 3. 🤷

They didnt blow it... MIN defense put the clamps on DEN.
Both team's defenses were suffocating, but Denver had more cracks and the Timberwolves consistently forced the Nugget's best shot to be Jokic shooting 3s and he bricked most of them, he was 0/6 at one point from 3 iirc.
They're overrated. Same team that the 36 year old Lebron led Lakers dismantled 4-1. Now that Lebron, Curry, Durant, Kawhi, Harden have aged out, they look special but it's the same squad. Minnesota just exposed it.

They don't have a very good chemistry. Ant is getting credit for everything you said, because the league is searching for a young american face for the league. Ant is acting like a brat, and he indeed still is a kid. Gobert designed their defense, and got Ant and KAT playing defense. But Ant gets all the credit for it, even though Ant isn't ready for it. He doesn't even realize it. And Kyle Anderson was the leader of the team only last year. They are constructed like a standard basketball team. They win, because most teams in the league are constructed dysfunctional. Not because they have chemistry.

Chemistry is great, Ant ain’t a brat at all, all he does is credit his teammates and take the responsibility for when the team doesn’t do well. It ain’t just Ant either, if we play bad everybody holds up their hands, it’s like they all want to be the one to protect their team from criticism. Chemistry isn’t just good it’s a special thing to witness, and whatever happens from here, this is a season for the history books.

It was partly they didn’t make shots. But Murray looks like a completely different guy with Ant all over him. Which makes sense. Ant is an incredible athlete and Murray can’t do that thing where he just flicks the ball up unless you really play in front of him as easily. Denver seemed to have no great answer for Ant on Murray.

At the beginning I thought this would be a seven game series but I didn't predict how it got to seven. I don't think anybody predicated the wolves winning 3 games in Denver. This was the best series so far. Props to Daniels, Naz Reid and KAT in this game. WCF should be good but I got Minnesota in 6.
Super happy for the Wolves. Mainly because my home players of Gobert and Conley there now. Been a Gobert fan since he had his first game here in Utah.
And I am rooting for him to Chip this year to shut the haters down.
He is not just a good basketball player. But he is a good guy for the community too.

guy still went 34-19-7. Wolves did better than other teams at defending Jokic but he still did what he needed to do. All of their other players, barring Jokic and Murray, combining for 21 points on pitiful shooting despite getting open looks from Murray or Jokic getting doubled is what cost them the game.

The two players that played well during the game Jokic and finally Murray played well but Minnesota played a good second half team game
Minnesota was the better team easily especially bearing a 15 point deficit in the first half. Nuggets had no production from 3 of their starting 5 players, and their bench is shallow despite Braun playing a good game today.
MPJ needs to get his acts together, he's looking more and more like Klay without having those 2 major injuries and being younger. I don't know what the issue is but that's not the kind of production you give for being paid 30m+ a year.
