5:20 This is actually abuse of BOTH animals. Hate to be a killjoy, but it's just not right to have ANY primate as a pet, or raising them like children, even if treated and fed well, it's still considered psychological/mental/emotional abuse. If raised by humans, they never learn how to interact with others of their kind, which is usually how they end up. They make cute pets, nice to show off, as babies. They are easily trained and obey their owners, mostly due to fear of some type of abuse. They act out when they reach the age of a juvenile (or teenager to us). They begin to get aggressive and continually less cooperate as they eventually begin lashing out at owners. Then they are dumped, sold on the black market or to laboratories, and/or straight up thrown out into the wild with NO survival skills, or primate social/communication skills. It's sad, so very tragic and sad. 17:00 Don't even get me started on the PigTail Macaques sadistic farmers terrify and traumatize in order to train them to pick coconuts. I saw monkeys picking coconuts in Thailand about 29 years ago. I was getting provisions later in town when the worktruck came past. Man and monkey hanging onto the overhead straps, both with the same "I want to go home expression".
It breaks my heart to see them in such small cages... The one that was making its own hammock, was probably trying to get up at its highest level as if it were in a tree but there was really nowhere else for it to go. So sad 🥺 And the ones that are on a leash so that they don't get away. It'sone thing to have a pet that wants to be with you and it's another to take a wild animal and use it as a servant of sorts.

It’s so sad to see monkeys with a collar and leash on.That alone tells me that the owners are obviously training them to make money by way of entertainment for humans, however I see no fun in watching any animal that is NOT in its natural habitat and it should be banded all around the world, unless the monkey is completely unable to live in nature due to a birth defect or parent has died and they still need help until a certain age.
@@carterpao well of course we do because dogs are pets and obviously for the safety of the dog and others, while walking them outside, you must have them on a leash by law, unless it's a stray dog but a monkey should never be pit on a leash and should be in nature with others like them(natural habitat) not performing for money because this lazy idiot don't want to work... The poor monkey has fear in his eyes and isn't happy to be doing tricks for us, SMH.
@@tanishabarrett2140 I own my own monkey and the person I bought the monkey from gave me a leash for him although I've never used it he goes outside all the time, It also has to do with if you train the monkey and I did its still wrong to put them on leashes though it also depends on where you got the monkey and nearly every other video I felt so bad for the monkeys
That one capuchin monkey (think that's what they're called) at 7:47 looks like he has a tumor growing on his neck. Those poor animals locked in them small ass cages sickens me, they have nothing to do and no way out. Imagine spending a lifetime locked in a cage like that how hopeless it would be. They also seemed to be alone in them cages.
Those coconut monkeys are worked to death, treated like slaves, and replaced when they die or become disabled. It's not the friendly mutually beneficial relationship they describe in this lighthearted video.
I don’t need to be “that guy” but the fact is we weren’t descended from monkeys, we had a common ancestor with them. Somewhere down the line we separated from them.
Why keep referring to monkeys when some are chimpanzees and others orang-utans namely apes. Neither o f which are monkeys. Such a shame to see the abuse some endure. They were probably taken from the wild after their mothers were killed.
Not just smart, emotionally and psychologically evolved. They feel pain on multiple levels just like we do as well as great apes being sentient(being self aware)
@@limopatrick2537 Yes, that’s stupid. Humans share a common ancestor with apes, specifically chimpanzees, bonobos, and gorillas. We do not share a common ancestor with random monkeys; it doesn’t matter if they are old world or new world monkeys. .
@@pinkmonkeybird2644 Yes, we do, if you go back far enough. Humans descended from a primate of some type that monkeys also descended from. Humans and squirrels also have a common ancestor. Humans and dinosaurs have a common ancestor. Humans and fish have a common ancestor.
Now the Chimp that got some Mountain Dew from the lady is GENIUS!!! The monkey in the first video is wearing a diaper and is on a leash. It's probably seen it's caretaker get something from the vending machine a hundred times. It is a cute imitation and possible trick; and the monkey is adorable, but I don't know if I would say "Genius".... I'm glad he received fruit juice and not something with caffeine, that little guy would be bouncing off the walls!!!
No one educated will say that we Stam from primates. Evolution demonstrates that monkeys and humans have the same ancestry. Saying that people Stam from primates is like saying that you Stam from your cousin. It doesn't make sense.
WE are the animals. Those "cute little monkeys dressed in cute clothes, leading dogs and doing tricks " are more than likely from either the black market or poached, are beaten into submission to do just exactly what the owner wants. They are abused, tortured, teased, neglected, beaten, starved, tormented, and most are gotten rid of before they are even one, two sometimes, because these are monkeys and they start to become aggressive and uncontrollable, acting just like what they are, wild animals. So, the next time you see a monkey or a great ape "all dressed up, looking so cute, doing cute little tricks," just remember, what you see is not at all the way it is for them when the cameras go off.
I had a monkey once and to stop my dog from biting him he would reach in the dogs mouth and grab the back of his tongue . The only thing the dog wanted to do was to get his tongue back . 🤣
not all monkeys being bought as pets have bad lives but yes the great majority do and its sad. i do know a couple people that have pet monkeys, not that they bought but they obtained thru other people not being able to take care of them, and the monkeys have great lives
Not all monkeys bought as pets have bad lives. A lot of monkey owners give them very amazing lives. It is not all abuse. The one with the motorcycle monkey, that is complete abuse. I agree there
I know how you feel and I'm going to break a rule for myself to give you a tip. When you see content like this that you really hate (and i agree with you here), refrain from posting a comment or engaging with the video at all. Even if it's to say something negative about it. The algorithm still gives their videos a boost in exposure. It's ridiculous.

“EATING Mountain Dew”!!??!! Since when were you able to eat a drink?
Yes I know right. He's made a few silly mistakes
In 250000000-B.C. Frozen water/ice was evented. If that is not a drink in the early 2000's they found a way to cover water in a soft flavourless substance to make water portable without a bottle
I can't believe the monkey shared the nuts! That was awesome! And making a hammock? I'm impressed!

That’s Abu and Asher on the Monkey Abu channel on TH-cam. The monkeys at the fruit stall. Then there’s this: th-cam.com/video/4edpGUcGcjo/w-d-xo.html
Shut up vegan teacher
We put leashes on dogs all the time, what makes this different?

I came here to say the same thing. You beat me to it.
Lol the first monkey reminded me of the one on Malcom in the Middle that holds Craig hostage and tries to kill him
That one capuchin monkey (think that's what they're called) at 7:47 looks like he has a tumor growing on his neck.
Those poor animals locked in them small ass cages sickens me, they have nothing to do and no way out.
Imagine spending a lifetime locked in a cage like that how hopeless it would be.
They also seemed to be alone in them cages.
They have pouches in their necks where they store food to carry back home.

I was thinking the same. And these aren’t all monkeys either; some were apes.
"Will crawl on your face when you're sleeping", 🤣 you're as entertaining as the monkeys/apes..
Why keep referring to monkeys when some are chimpanzees and others orang-utans namely apes. Neither o f which are monkeys. Such a shame to see the abuse some endure. They were probably taken from the wild after their mothers were killed.
You've seen all of these up to fifteen minute mark; but the orangutan tying knots is fab, worth the whole show.

Orangutans are superb tree nest builders , so making a hammock was probably pretty easy for him.
When he tied the knot, I was like "He must be an eagle scout!"
bro its fake lol looks at the eyes

Monkeys are NOT our ancestors
Not sure about that, the monkey picked grape juice?
Bull dogs can't swim, that's why it fought so hard against the monkey. They also don't tend to jump very well.
Wait don't modern monkeys also have the same ancestors as us? Like they split from our ancestors like us?
15:07 to 15:08 the eyes look very big and strange
I love how obvious it is that the narrator is projecting his intellectual insecurities onto monkees!
Hey bro, FYI: chimps, bonobos, orang utans and gorillas are NOT 'monkeys'. They are 'apes' (a.k.a. 'primates'). Exactly like humans are.
I love the centipede bit. literally went out their way to trigger phobias

its kinda sad how these smart creatures are kept in captivity.
Except for that baboon stealing stuff lol.
(I am just kidding. All animals deserve help from humans, by the way).
that's just instinct bro.
Not just smart, emotionally and psychologically evolved.
They feel pain on multiple levels just like we do as well as great apes being sentient(being self aware)

'Science says we evolved from monkeys' stupid
@@limopatrick2537 you mean apes

God created all humans. Genesis 2 verse 7
Reject humanity: Return to monke
@@mysticsadame2021 we all must turn back to our old ways

This is reality so why quote from a fairy tale?
Your content is just awesome...number one fun cant skip any single one of them .Great work man. much love
The orangutan made a hammock.Very cool video
I had a monkey once and to stop my dog from biting him he would reach in the dogs mouth and grab the back of his tongue . The only thing the dog wanted to do was to get his tongue back . 🤣

I stopped half way through because nearly all the monkeys had been bought as pets. I don't agree with this and feel it is abuse.
not all monkeys being bought as pets have bad lives but yes the great majority do and its sad. i do know a couple people that have pet monkeys, not that they bought but they obtained thru other people not being able to take care of them, and the monkeys have great lives

@pAiN Because monkey's belong in the wild not someone's house.
