After you get this installed, can you download google play apps? If i only want to run the emulator, do i have to do the path variables and such? Is it possible to emulate thing on the virtual phone such as charging status?
I think that if Google Play is included in the emulator, then you have that ability (you just have to sign in). If not, you would have to directly transfer an apk file from your computer to the emulator device. For the emulator, you need android studio installed, so you would still have to setup the path variables. And as for the charging status, when you run the emulator, you can tap the three dots on the vertical toolbar that pops up, and in the window that appears, you can modify the device status (including charging status).
@@MichaelGrieco Yeah, when you select the OS in the manager i selected android 6.0 api level 24, it says it has play store, and the specific app i want to install is android 6.0 and above
