Cable rotor. Thanks for a marvelous how-to video for a valuable product. Regarding engine mount bolts, I was trained to install them from the bottom, nuts on top, so if one ever comes apart, a visual check would reveal that failure before, we hope, a Premature End of Journey. I'm not sure it is all that important, just offering it up as an alternative. This is a well-edited, charming, easy-to follow video, waaaaay better than the 99% floundering below. Keep 'em coming down the pike.
What is the measurement center to center on the motor shaft an gearbox shaft, needs to be 6.71 inches to use the drive belt that comes with the tav30 torque converter!!!
Hi thanks for the comment! The stock 203589 belt is 6.625"- 6.6875" center to center. The small block 212 Powerpack is designed around this spec. If you are at 6.71", I'm sure that would work just fine. Only .021" more.
Thanks! Yes, we are in Canada and ship across the USA for FREE! The gearbox cables, and controls all come with the gearbox kit. I just updated the link at www.ecocycle.ca if you want to order one from there!
@@pl747go towards the middle of the spec slightly to the tight side readjust after the first 5hrs of runtime (the belt tends to break in/stretch/ wear the most in that time period)
It can be mounted in several ways... It is designed to nest over and cross bolt to a 1"X4" rectangular tube, but a common 1"X3" will work as well with a 1/2" spacer on each side. It can also be mounted on 4 tabs welded to your chassis. The PowerPack drive unit slides on slots so you can adjust your final drive chain tension. I'm working on a video now to help illustrate all this. Thanks for your question!

Hey Thanks for that! Cable Rotor! Sold. Glad you found the video helpful.
Why not mount the transmission where it was originally designed to be... Just under the engine cylinder and head?
@dodgeme1986truck The first prototype mounted the gearbox this way. The problem was no access to the rear engine bolts when using the stock belt.
We’re do I find this

Hey Thanks for the support. Just made a new batch, please visit www.ecocycle.ca
Since you build these what is the correct shaft center to center with that belt?
Hi, the 203589 belt that comes with most 30 series CVT kits is 6.625"-6.6875" Center to Center.
@@EcocycleVehicles thanks. Is it better on the tight side or the looser side? Or shoot for 6.75?

@@EcocycleVehicles thanks, I did locate y’all, waaaaaay up north! Fun products.
So this set up doesn't work with torque convertors
It uses the standard TAV2-30 clutches with the reverse gearbox, but will also fit the CVT backing plate if you decide to use it without the gearbox.
That's 1.5 x the cost of the f N r. Not to mention welding it your self. But that thing is convenient af
Glad you see the convenience of the PowerPack! Custom engineered and made in Canada! Shipping Free to North America!
Find it @Ecocycle.ca!
How does it mount to your cart??
