- This video isn't meant to go too in depth, mainly because I can't get my hands on full-game footage, just highlight recaps. So I can't show you guys the misses and other plays that don't end up in a score so I didn't go too in-depth here but I'm sure that the Boston Celtics are working on a formula if not already figured out a way to stop the Bucks' prime means of scoring. Also to stop, means to beat, not to hold without scoring. The Bucks are a high-octane offense so taking away their biggest punch, will in essence stop the Bucks' high-flowing offense. Just my thoughts, let me know what you think below.

Not true at all, every player in the league can be forced into losing/bad situations through great gameplanning and proper personnel. The Pistons proved that with Kobe, the Bad Boys proved it with Jordan, Shaq could be hacked, KD can be guarded by ripping him early and turning him into a guard, his handle is looser and easy to rip if you're a guard(Hence Pat Bev). That is a terrible mindset to say that any player is unstoppable. Might as well not play a series if that's the case
If Brogdon comes back in Game 3 then its probably Bucks in 6. Their defense is just so good, i dont see anybody who can attack Giannis maybe Kyrie but Kyrie attacks everyone. Giannis can effectivly guard Tatum, Brown and Hayward and maybe Horford too. Im thinking the key is to lock down the rest of the team and force playmaking. I really think Bucks in 6, it can go differently tho

I think some of your points are valid, but you severely underestimate Giannis. This is not the same Giannis from last year that lost to the celtics in 7.

The refs are desperately trying to keep MIL in the game. Sheesh, BOS is embarrassing Giannis and Budz rn
Bucks has the best defense in the league.I don't know why all think that can win them if they "slow down" them offensivly.Bucks are not good or great ,they are dominant.Only 5-6 teams in history had more wins with double digits. No one had a blowout win against them when they were healthy.The only chance Boston has is to be really hot from the 3 and steal the games the last minutes.Bucks will dominate them offensivly and defensivly in the paint.Bucks usually don't play with switches in defense.They fight through screens and they prefer to pack the paint and has slower rotation for 3s from the PFs and Cs from the top.They will switch in defense when they want to make a come back.And offensivly it's not "Giannis and spot up 3s".Bledsoe can attack of the dribble,Middleton can post up,pull up 3s and play pick n roll with Lopez,Brown and Lopez also can attack close out of the dribble.etc.And Giannis is not only slasher,he can cut or roll in the paint,post up,attack from pick n rolls,he will take 4-5 open 3s.
Playoff games are won in the clutch. All of Boston has been proven to be comfortable performing in the clutch on defense and offense. Bucks are the underdogs, they have the pressure of establishing home-court early versus a very talented, well-coached Boston team. I've watched the Bucks the entire year, their offense is very gimmicky and predictable. Khris Middleton and Giannis' shot creating will not be enough to will the Bucks past a fully activated Celtics team. The only way the Bucks beat the Celtics this year is if Boston comes in unfocused. Ik Bucks fans are excited this year, but if Horford shows up, Boston wins in 6 or less.

@@dimkilago2958 It's not that deep lol. I've been right plenty of times, and I've been wrong. If I was 100% right why the hell would I make videos on TH-cam and not just make bets in Vegas and win big every time. Stated in the description that this video is not meant to be super-in-depth. I can't get my hands on full-game tape to show every single play and run therefore I kept it simple... my man relax, I don't get paid by any teams to put out promo info or to bad-mouth a certain team. I used to play ball, and have alot of hands on experience in the sport, if you have better analysis to bring to the table, put out a video. Until then keep the negativity to yourself.

Came back to this video after seeing what Toronto did to them last year and Miami is currently doing now up 2-0. If u have any great primary defender above 6’5 and he can score u can beat Milwaukee because it starts with stopping him first.

Usually in to a man 2 man def we see many pick n rolls or pop and i dont think they can guard giannis in situation like this ..and i completely diasgree he isnt fast ..hes pretty fast for his height and also he might not have lebrons vision (yet) but he is hood enough for experience and at this level he must have help from the coaching stuff .. finally i believe giannis cant be stopped but he might not be as dominant as durant last night ... If boston wanna qualify they must contain all bucks offence under 100 .. i see the bucks at 7 great match up

I disagree, Giannis is a very good willing passer, an underrated passer, double team him or leave others open, he will pass that ball, 60 wins came this year because he has a squad and he knows how to use them WHEN needed.

In the eternal words of Iron Mike Tyson.... "everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth " meaning everyone thinks they have a plan to stop Giannis, but they actually don't. No one did it during the regular season, and excluding Detroit, I don't see no one doing it in the playoffs either 🤷🏽♂️ I got the bucks winning this in no less than 5 games, max.. maybe 6 or 7
This would betrue, but that statement usually rings harder when the opponent has no talent. BOS has more talent, skill, and aren't gimmicky like MIL, they are adaptable and are the favorites, not underdogs.

Lol, they cannot shoot as well as you think. They are league average in terms of accuracy(15th in 3p%), they shotjack. The refs gave Giannis 18fta, trust me he gets enough love. Over the past 2 games Boston's starting 5 has only gotten 13fta, Kyrie has 0fta and he's an almost 90% shooter. If they were calling the calls equally, Boston would cream the Bucks. Outside of Giannis, the whole team took half or more of their fga from 3 with terrible efficiency outside of Bledsoe and Middleton. Kyrie can shoot those bad shots because most of the time, he'll make them and in Game 2 missed quite a few wide open ones which he usually doesn't miss. They wouldn't hire me because I'm not in the business of coaching, nor do I want to be. Little do you know, I left the basketball scene for various reasons that are none of your business lol. Coach Bud is a great coach to bring for the regular season, he put a bandaid over what Greek Freak's issues are, similarly to how Stan Van Gundy put a bandaid over Dwight Howard's issues. It is easy, basketball is not a hard sport to understand or play. By the way where was this energy after Game 1 my guy? Very quiet then lol and nobody on the Celtics had a standout game. Jayson Tatum is playing terribly too I might add, and they still won Game 1 by a wide margin, the Celtics aren't using my gameplan hence why they lost. They're helping too much, Giannis doesn't have a scorer's mentality to put the team on his back and he doesn't play good defense on the perimeter hence why the pick-pop killed them game 1 and game 2. LOL you call me a fan, but my team isn't even in the playoffs my guy and idgaf what the look comes off as. Jeff Teague was a pointguard very similar to Bledsoe, Korver is one of the best shooters ever, Paul Milsap was a very good 2way stretch 4 who could put the ball on the floor. AD had 38 fts over 4 games last year against the Blazers who definitely fouled him alot, Giannis is on pace to take 70fts over 5 games... the infamous ft situation D-Wade in 06 took 97 fts over 6 games, Giannis is on track to take 84 over 6 games... The refs can't give him too much more than that. Very good analysis
A few things
1. While you correctly pointed out Giannis is not the quickest defender I've seen him lock down the Kawhi Leonarda, KDs of the world which would lead me to believe in the playoffs he will have no problem with Tatum, Hayward and Brown. Kyrie might be problem for him but hes a problem for everyone...I like the Bucks defense a lot
2. I just cant see who the Celtics will use to guard Giannis...people say Horford but Giannis torches him, ojele plays him well but he will only be in for a few minutes. I dont see a player 1 on 1 containing Giannis, they will have to bring help
3. If the gameplan is not to help on Giannis then I agree with you the celtics will shut down the rest of the team which will put the pressure on Bledsoe to create (which scares me). This is why I think getting Brogdon back hopefully by game 4 or 5 will dramatically help the Bucks bc hes a solid playmaker.

Ayee! Great analysis, and I don't think that anyone can torch Giannis. But my point is that they need to keep him involved on defense and not letting him rest at all by using all players on the floor. I agree, that gameplan is simply to mentally wear down Giannis as well as physically. He is not a pure-bred scorer who looks for that everynight. He will have to adjust to carrying his team in every sense. I like the Bucks but they have to prove me wrong after last year. Bledsoe being the creator is scary lol and Brogdon is KEY! For the Bucks to win, Brogdon must be back for at least 3 games. Great take btw

Let me just say that you have the best NBA TH-cam channel out. With that being said, I agree with your breakdown. The only reason I don't automatically say the Celtics win the series is because of their inconsistencies. Mostly their chemistry overall. They lose games they should win too often. However, this is the playoffs and it's not the regular season anymore.
An underutilized strategy against teams with only one true superstar is to force them to beat you by themselves. In other words take away the role-players. Play smothering man defense. Force their best player to do everything. The Bucks don't have another player that can take over and dominate consistently. Force Giannis left and make him take contested jumpers. The Celtics have the right personnel to make that happen.
I greatly appreciate that bro, just trying to get better every-time. Agreed and agreed, Boston isn't set in stone, but imho I believe it's the underachieving team from last year in Milwaukee that has the burden of proof on their hands to make a statement.

Their percentage is terrible for a team that shoots that often. 2nd most attempts, 2nd most makes, 15th best percentage? One of those numbers don't match. That's shot-jacking(Volume-shooting at best)

Not at all, they stayed home on shooters helping relatively low on the perimeter. I stated that they should wall-up the paint, force-him left and watch his O2 deplete when he doesn't have shooters to kick to. He doesn't have a score-first mentality or skillset. He took 21 shots without counting the ones where he got fouled and missed and the rest of the team was not good enough to create their own looks outside Middleton. Like the Bucks, but they're not mentally ready for a team like Boston
I disagree , I think you have to put some bear traps in the paint and if he’s able to jump over them then a 12 gauge shotgun to the ribs should contain him a bit. Now this might cause an and1 but he probably won’t be able to make that free throw. Jk, good video! I have the Celtics winning but I think it’s going to be the most exciting matchup for round 2. I would love the bucks to get to the finals though.

I stated near the end of the video that I have Celtics in 6. Never that, I bet on Giannis and the Bucks winning last year in 6 thinking he would figure out a way to pull thru, he didn't and I have to see it to believe it. Not hating on the man to say the truth, this is his 6th year in the league, 1st time out the 1st round against a team with their best player injured at that. I don't stand against the Bucks personally, I don't play or work for the Celtics. I just believe that Boston is better equipped to win this series, they have the 2nd best if not best closer in the game, 3 very good wing players that are all on or above Khris Middleton's level, they have a great powerforward in Horford and a scrappy team dynamic in terms of personnel and mindset along with a brilliant head coach. The Bucks are full of a bunch of guys who were good, but never good enough to win in the playoffs outside of Hill, and Gasol. We'll see, I can never be 100% right but I'm comfortable with my prediction.

@@jqualls7901 1st meeting this season, J Brown was DNP, 2nd meeting Horford DNP, 3rd meeting 1st time Bucks played a fully healthy Boston team, the regular season is not a good representation of the playoff picture. Many times, a similarly talented squad had the superior record in the reg season and lost in the playoffs. We'll have to wait and see, MIL is the team with something to prove, Boston has been to the ECF multiple times with young players who are confident. I like the Bucks, but the Bucks are the team with something to prove, Kyrie can be counted on to perform, and we'll see what happens

if the refs allow Horford to get away with elbows and stuff like last year they might contain him.. otherwise celtics really need smart (if he makes it through his injury) to take the assignment and guard him closely attacking his medium handles.. Bledsoe creating is a horrible thought seeing as he can get out of control at times. Giannis would maybe need a near perfect game all series to pull it off.... But I can see it going either way, Bud has never had a super stat caliber player like Giannis to use and so far he has made great use of him... Should be exciting as hell. I think you might be underselling the bucks a little bit on thinking the matchup will be like last year, but good analysis anyway. I do see a path to victory for the celtics if their shooters can get hot (although they will not win the battle of the boards or the paint).
My head says bucks in 6, my gut says celtics have a shot in 7.
