This game was insane bro. The way it made you walk around, interact with other people whilst keeping fit and having tons of fun. I miss it a lot and I hope for another irl/virtual game in the future.
Dude the game is still alive and has millions of players. I started playing again two weeks ago after years of not playing and it never has been so much fun now. The game is way less laggy, pokemon in general spawn way more often than it used to, much more diversity of pokemon (Goes up to Gen 5), raids, legendary pokemon, etc. If you loved this game you should give it a try again, especially during this pandemic where people have nothing to do it's really cool and I've been loving it so far.

Vik here's a tip, when you miss a pokeball the pokemon jumps back and gets further and further, to reset the pokemon so he comes closer again put AR mode on and then turn it off and it puts the pokemon close :)
another tip, if hes really far away just turn ar on and tilt the top of the screen towards you so only the top of the pokemon is visible, this means you dont have to lob it across the screen just a small throw like you would do with a caterpie or something, easy catches
+zProFrost hyperbeam is a super powerful move, but not the best for dragonite since its a dragon type pokemon. dragon pulse and steel wing are the best movesets for defending on a gym as well, but don't be mad about getting hyperbeam, its 1 shot K/O on like everything when it's defending on gyms, and is very fun to use. would be more effective with a snorlax as its a normal type pokemon and hyperbeam is normal type attack 🖒 ps, my dragonite has steel wing and hyperbeam
