That orc tirned out great. Idk what people are complaining about. It's another technique to get stuff on the table to play. Bot every piece has to be a Picasso. Great work.
Don! This is so inspiring ! I have been using it/training on some board game minis but I am working up the courage to use it on my higher detailed minis! ❤
Do you typically thin the speedpaints (I'm using 2.0 and having trouble seeing any of the shading done with my drybrush)? You mentioned using the medium on one of them, I wasn't sure if that was 'in addition' to your normal thinning, or if it's unique.
"But thats not Slapchop"! Thats what I was told when I posted your ultra marine video to a Facebook group. Your work is amazing, but it seems vitally important to some in the community to pigeon-hole Slapchop as a "basic" technique with so-so results and any improvements to the basic renders it not Slapchop anymore and, as I was told: "misses the point of Slapchop".
That's like saying fishing is no longer fishing because it was originally for survival and now for sport. Taking longer or getting a different result doesn't necessarily mean it's not the same technique IMO. I think people get too wound up with stuff like that! I'd argue that the base technique is still slapchop until we come up with yet another daft sub technique. It's like the difference between emos and goths! Does it REALLY matter if someone labels an emo as a goth or even both as 'rock' or metal heads. Who cares! Have fun and be happy! 😊
Good video, slapppchop master
Oh no! No maater, just mister. ☺️🎨🎨🎨
wow this is great. I was pondering something like this to try on some minis and this was super helpful!
Bro, I did double chop on some flames today and it looked amazing. Thank you for showing me this technique!
Awesome man! Glad you are loving the technique! 😊🎨🎨🎨
That sounds like an awesome idea! I struggle a ton with flames.

Thanks, Don.
Beholder! Have fun bro! ☺️🎨🎨🎨
Thank you for your video! may I know if you can explain more about the part of colour choosing? ❤❤
Welcome man! Hmmm… I always discuss color theory in my PDF tutorials, but will try to make a video about it soon. Cheers! ☺️🎨🎨🎨
The orc skin on the + stage with OSL looks amazing for essentially a quick painting method.
Glad you like it! 😊🎨🎨🎨 I think will do batch painting next time. ☺️
Again,awesome!
Thank you! Cheers! ☺️🎨🎨🎨

Yeah I got comments like that before. That is why I now call it Double Slapchop “plus”. People can be very amusing. ☺️🎨🎨🎨

Who cares, so weird to post this video to a Facebook group in the first place let alone actually care what anyone in it has to say lmfao.
