Theory: Probably all of this is in Sunny’s mind. Yk how it’s hard to destroy something you created? It’s that. He’s trying to accept the truth, but he doesn’t want to destroy headspace entirely, so that might be why some of the other characters are trying to get him to stay. He probably doesn’t realize it though. (Just a random thought, I think better at night tho)
Makes sense. I think if that's the case, he could create a new world or modify the headspace because we all have a world within us that changes as time goes by.
Ive read the entirety of endless dreaming, its seperate from it, it just shares a few of the same ideas of what could happen after the ending of omori. Otomerson often likes to make omori content with a more paranormal twist to it than having the events of omori to be completely based in reality. Otomerson also likes to have a sort of sibling relationship with Sunny and Omori. The only big similarity with endless dreaming is that both Basil from endless dreaming and omori the dreamer had their souls/memories split in half after the incident with stranger, one half of Basil being stuck in headspace and the other being the one in the real world(i recommend looking at otomerson's no. 2 animation as that sorta shows that)
That's really interesting! If Otomerson goes for a paranormal approach, it will be a mod idea quite different from the ones I've seen before. I think it would turn out really interesting. Thanks for the information!
Even as a demo, this mod is one of the best OMORI mods I have seen ever. (And I have loved OMORI since its release!) I wonder whats next to come. Also, great video as always
