Unfortunately this is not what it used to be. Lots of shop built bikes and a little too much commercialization and looks like a money making bunch of yuppies. Too bad they destroyed the original roots of this concept. Great if that is what you are looking for. Please get back to what it was originally, guys building bikes out of their shed and coming up with some amazing creations. Anyone with enough money can have a yuppie shop build a bike for them.....
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Duke Ezra thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Don't take this wrong guys, but isn't this very removed from the Shed built bikes this was supposed to be about, 90% of the bikes here are shop built. It's all got a bit trendy and Expensive( look at Charlie's watches?) I stopped riding Harleys for exactly this reason, I'm an individual, this isn't what it started out to be. It's nice to see families at these events. But far removed from where it started. Have you lost your way? Or have you sold out?
Anthony Price this is unfortunately the cycle of something great. Its low key and underground and awesome. So awesome that you tell your buddy. Then your buddy tells his buddies. They start tagging each other on instagram and before you know it, there are celebrities signing autographs and lines to the bathroom with women and infants in tow. Its unfortunately the way things transform. Its a bummer.
@@sickunit2096 The Bike shed was great when it started, but it's all a bit £$€ orientated. Corporate has taken over. And the whole unique stripped utilitarian approach has gone. Even Triumph make a street scrambler as a model, so its turned full circle. Next thing will be a patch for the waistcoat and a rocker. Then organised "ride outs" and chapters. Then we are back to pseudo HA wannabes like Hog. It's all a bit lost to me.
After 60 years and counting on bikes I have enjoyed my several visits to The Bike Shed and always recommended it to all , But yes You do have a point and what came to mind was JAMIE OLIVER ,,,,,,,,,, this is his story exactly,,,,,,,,, success changes things for better or worse , depending on your view and opinion . BIKE SHED is still a Great gig , it's just spread its wings . Maybe this was part of the plan or just a financial requirement ? Don't matter to me too much as long as its BIKES .
@@jonnysl6560 it is still a great place to visit, however since the popularity the prices have been gradually rising, if I'm going to ride 50 plus miles to visit a venue I'd like to think I don't need to bash my credit card to pay the bill. I'm a tight git and motorcycling is my escape, the bike shed when it started was a cool inexpensive place to visit, not any longer. I'll just have to find somewhere else to sit and drink my tea.
It's on my bucket list to make it next year, the timing just wasn't right for me this time. The missus has even said she'll come with, she's not a biker but maybe I can change that 😉
Does anyone know any of the websites/names of the artists who sell their bike themed art (paintings/prints) etc at these events? Some great art id love to buy....cheers.
Looks good, but showing t-shirt and other merchandise being prepared for sale just ruins the whole feel of the video. Unless you were going for "we are just a business interested in making money" feel.
Gotta be there this year for sure, already have the tickets, can't wait.
I should visit London when this show is on
Had an awesome day here brilliant thanks

Shane smith Ryan Roadkill does a lot of our illustration and Amy Shore does a lot of our event photography. Hope that helps!
